Obama’s Many Lies Keep the Questions Coming

Re: Andy on the Birth-Certificate Business

Kevin, you’re right re the Kenyan citizenship. At the time of his birth, Barack Obama was the son of a British subject — like every American president up to Martin van Buren. I believe, under certain interpretations of Britain’s revised nationality law, President Obama would qualify as a “British Overseas Citizen” — for whatever that’s worth (unlike most other countries, where it’s merely a rhetorical term, Britain has literal and official categories of third-class citizenship).

But the rest of Andy’s piece I found most interesting. It’s the story of a self-invented man, a kind of Gatsby for the multiculti age who appears fully-formed on the world stage and for whom the first few decades of his short existence are mostly a source of misty watercolored but highly calculated anecdotage that, when you try to pin it down, seems to wiggle free of such humdrum earthbound concepts as facts.

Do I think he was born in Hawaii? Yes — if only because the alternative is way too audacious (to use an Obama-ism) to contemplate.

But do I think there’s something on the long-form birth certificate he doesn’t want us to see? Yes. That would seem entirely likely — and consistent with his modus operandi.

As for the alleged “kookiness” of birthers, a true conspiracy theorist would surely believe that Obama deliberately started the birth-certificate business in order to make it easier to dismiss his opponents as deranged.

Suborned in the U.S.A.
The birth-certificate controversy is about Obama’s honesty, not where he was born.

By Andrew C. McCarthy
Throughout the 2008 campaign, Barack Hussein Obama claimed it was a “smear” to refer to him as “Barack Hussein Obama.” The candidate had initially rhapsodized over how his middle name, the name of the prophet Mohammed’s grandson, would signal a new beginning in American relations with the Muslim world. But when the nomination fight intensified, Obama decided that Islamic heritage was a net negative. So, with a media reliably uncurious about political biographies outside metropolitan Wasilla, Obama did what Obama always does: He airbrushed his personal history on the fly.
Suddenly, it was “just making stuff up,” as Obama put it, for questioners “to say that, you know, maybe he’s got Muslim connections.” “The only connection I’ve had to Islam,” the candidate insisted, “is that my grandfather on my father’s side came from [Kenya]. But I’ve never practiced Islam.” Forget about “Hussein”; the mere mention of Obama’s middle initial — “H” — riled the famously thin-skinned senator. Supporters charged that “shadowy attackers” were “lying about Barack’s religion, claiming he is a Muslim.” The Obamedia division at USA Today, in a report subtly titled “Obama’s grandma slams ‘untruths,’” went so far as to claim that Obama’s Kenyan grandmother is a Christian — even though a year earlier, when Obama’s “flaunt Muslim ties” script was still operative, the New York Times had described the same woman, 85-year-old Sara Hussein Obama, as a “lifelong Muslim” who proclaimed, “I am a strong believer of the Islamic faith.”
*** This article is 4 pages long, I read the entire thing and it has a lot of really interesting things in it. Andrew like Mark Steyn both want Obama to show the world his long form birth certificate. *****
PLEASE CLICK HERE TO READ ALL 4 PAGES. It is a fast read, just way too long to put the whole thing here.

Wild Thing’s comment……..
Mark Steyn can’t help but see that the only reasons for Obama *not* to resolve the issue by publishing the certificate are (a) hiding something, or (b) being an *ssh*le.
If you get a chance to read what Andrew wrote and also seeing what Mark Steyn has written both taking the same desire but with tiny bit different angels to why they want to see it. I am glad Mark Steynand Andrew McCarthy are onboard and questioning the Birth details as well.

Mark says:

The whole media is avoiding this, like the plague. Very few have picked up on it for whatever reason is undiscernable. I would think it would put pressure on the Soutpiel puppet to produce a BC.
You know damn well if obama was a Republican the press would be all over this like white on rice. But since he is a leftist-treasonous bastard they won’t touch it or don’t care.
Mark Steyn says he’s hiding something or is a AH, or both.

Jim says:

The answer is C, both A and B

Wild Thing says:

Mark, yes they are. I do think partly for
the ones that learn right it is concern
about their jobs and I can’t blame them
for that. This is no time to get fired and
be out of work. I have heard several on
Fox hint about it some even spoke about
it but only little short sentence jabs
kind of thing.

Wild Thing says:

Jim good one, yessss.
