Ship is Sinking and Kiss Up To The Left McCain Says ‘Obama has done well’

McCain: Obama has ‘done well’
The Washington Times
The Arizona Republican, speaking on CBS’ “Face the Nation” program Sunday, said that using a legislative scorecard to judge the presidency so far, Mr. Obama has achieved all his legislative goals.
“I think he’s done well,” Mr. McCain said.
But the president’s legislative success has come as the result of ramming Democratic measures through Congress with minimal Republican support.

“Unfortunately, it’s [been achieved] by picking off a couple of Republicans — it’s not been bipartisan,” Mr. McCain said. “So there really hasn’t been that change in the climate in Washington.”

On the issue of national security, the Arizona senator has given Mr. Obama a grade of incomplete, saying that it’s too early to tell how the administration’s handling of North Korea, Iran and other international trouble spots will pan out.

“The president is facing a major challenge here,” he said.

But Mr. McCain said he would prefer Mr. Obama to take a tougher stance on Iran and its crackdown on protesters opposing the country’s recent elections, which have been accused of massive fraud.

“I’d like to see the president be stronger than he has been [on Iran], although I appreciate the comments that he made yesterday,” Mr. McCain said in reference to comments the president made Saturday urging Iranian leaders to stop its “violent and unjust actions.”

Wild Thing’s comment……
Just when you think John McCain or his stupid daughter can’t do anything else to undermine conservatism…they do it again! I am so osick of McCain!!!
No-one that believes in this country and it’s founding principles can say with a straight face that ‘Obama has done well’!!
What an idiotic and cowardly thing to say!!
Go away, John. Please, just go away. You have done enough damage! And please take your daughter Meghan the Mouth with you.

.

….Thank you Mark for sending this to me.

BobF says:

The voters of Arizona need to make McCain go away. If taking this country trillions in debt and taking over major industries and banks garners a “well done” from McCain, I wonder just what he would have done had he been elected?

Lynn says:

And to think he was the one who came out on top of the Republican candidates. Sheesh! He’s the one who ruined it, not Sarah Palin. We need to take a good hard look at our senators and congresspeople and get rid of the RINOs in 2010 and the dummycraps. What good have they done?

Rick says:

This is why I voted for Palin.

Mark says:

Good question BobF, it is clear why McCain did NOT get elected, his half baked ideas, his RINO stance, the Blue dog democrat is not stupid they voted for the real democrat not a Bowel Powell democrat imposter.

Avitar says:

Around here, we put a Submarine periscope bearing mark on the Rino logo but I do not think that most people would understand the display from a modern nuclear submarine periscope.
May I suggest the crosshairs from a riflescope instead? The caption should read “Rinos: an endanger species as soon as possible” or “Rinos: an Endanger
Species ASAP.”
As far as McCain getting the nomination in 2008, that will always be a danger with the “open” primaries. When we do not have a leading Republican thinker, running there will always be the danger of a few thousand organized Democrat voters crossing party lines and swing the primaries.

TomR says:

Please people of Arizona. Put McCain in retirement in 2010. Either vote in a real Republican or a real Democrat. Not a 3/4 Democrat posing as a Republican.

RAC says:

How could any straight thinking person even remotely consider that obama has done a good job. I voted for the McCain ticket…(actually my vote was for Sarah Palin), I shudder to think what would be going on if McCain had gotten elected. Things would probably be better than they are now, but not by a whole lot apparently. I totally respect McCain the man….. but have no respect for McCain the politician. Time to find a new career or at least retire John.
P.S. Stop listening to your daughter, it makes you sound stupid!!!

Jack says:

I love that graphic Chrissie, it displays my heart and soul, even my independence. NO more Progressives either.
We’ve been lulled by the media and the truth about “The Straight Talk Express” forget the code of conduct, how about that sworn oath of office? Forget about his attack on freedom of speech with Feingold.
This plaque says all we need to know if only we would just think about it, his is the only plaque there. Someone was impressed with him,eh? “My Friends”.
“Here on 26 October 1967 at Truc Bach Lake in the capital city of Ha Noi John Sidney McCain was shot out of the sky in his A4 aircraft by local (militia?) citizens defending Yen Phu.
There were 10 other planes shot down on the same day.”

Wild Thing says:

BobF.,I agree, good point.

Wild Thing says:

Lynn, I agree so much. Sarah drew all the
huge crowds too, McCain could not even
compete with his VP selection..giggle.

Wild Thing says:

Rick, DITTO that!!! Thanks.

Wild Thing says:

Mark, I agree, he is even over the top
in the rino dept.

Wild Thing says:

Avitar, yes it is a real problem. So
many people too vote the name they
are familiar with and pay little
attention to poltics. I wish more
did, I think they would be shocked
if they would learn more about what
is happening.

Wild Thing says:

Tom, Amen to all of that.

Wild Thing says:

RAC, well said, thank you!!!!
Something is wrong with a person
that can so easily throw out there
that Obama is doing a good job
when they are supposed to be a
Rep.. Even a person that is not,but
there is a responsibility McCain
has about this that he keeps slapping
America and his party in the face.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Wild Thing says:

Jack, thank you so much. I am glad you
have that link to Devvy, excellent.
And the link to the plaque that
just gave me chills looking at that
oh my gosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Countrygirl says:

I don’t live in the Us but I’m trying to follow Us politics there’s one thing that i don’t grasp…I saw a lot of negative comment about the so called RINO but during general election a candidate must get votes from indipendent so he/she must appeal to them maybe IMHO a candidate too much on the right won’t get the indipendent votes. Maybe a RINO isn’t the perfect candidate for some repubblicans but it’s better to have as a president someone with whom agree on 50% on his/her ideas rather than have someone whith whom you don’t agree at all on what he is doint (I hope i made myself clear).
