A great, short video showing what $100 million means in the context of a $3.5 trillion budget.
How much is the $100 million dollars in budget cuts compared to the federal budget as a whole? This video imagines the budget at $100 in pennies to provide the answer.
.
Wild Thing’s comment…….
Clever idea how to explain this.
Great graphics. Another way to drive the idea home is to divide (100 million / 3.5 trillion)x 100% = .00285 percent of the budget
or about 25% of one (1) percent of the total budget. BFD,.
But, will that $100M then be wasted elsewhere in the giant federal bureaucracy?
Mark, wow I think you must be really good
at math. I am terrible with Math. That was
good Mark.
Tom, your right that is something they
should have added to the video. Good one!!
Actually I misplaced a decimal point. that should be 2.5 % of 1 percent a mere pittance.
