That first one with the girlie magazine reminds me of the Saudi caretaker who cleaned the swimmng pool when we were deployed for Operation Elf One. When our women would be swimming, he would suddenly get a small garden hose and need to refill the pool. He would squat by that pool, holding the hose as the water trickled out, for as long as the girls were in the pool or sunbathing. When the women left, he would leave. He was an older guy and probably never saw women in bathing suits in his life.

It’s from my reserve unit, the 288TH QM Co. when they were in Iraq back in ’03. It was meant to be a morale booster.
