The New WHITE HOUSE Government Website Slams Bush

The OFFICIAL WHITE HOUSE GOVERNMENT SITE
http://www.whitehouse.gov:80/
Politico
The new White House website unveiled by President Barack Obama’s team Tuesday includes a shot at former President Bush’s response to Hurricane Katrina.
Under the “agenda” portion of the site regarding Katrina, it reads:

“President Obama will keep the broken promises made by President Bush to rebuild New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. He and Vice President Biden will take steps to ensure that the federal government will never again allow such catastrophic failures in emergency planning and response to occur.”

President Obama swiftly responded to Hurricane Katrina,” the statement on the site continues. “Citing the Bush Administration’s ‘unconscionable ineptitude’ in responding to Hurricane Katrina, then-Senator Obama introduced legislation requiring disaster planners to take into account the specific needs of low-income hurricane victims.”

The site also points out that Obama “visited thousands of Hurricane survivors in the Houston Convention Center and later took three more trips to the region” and worked with the Congressional Black Caucus to help rebuild in the aftermath of Katrina.
In interviews prior to leaving the White House, Bush defended the federal government’s response to the hurricane.

“The truth of the matter is the response was pretty darn quick if you think about the fact that the Coast Guard and a lot of brave kids were pulling 30,000 people off of roofs as soon as the storm passed, as soon as they found people on those roofs,” Bush said during an interview with CNN last week.

Bush also said his lowest point in office came when he heard “people saying George Bush is a racist because of the response” to the hurricane.

Wild Thing’s comment………
ENOUGH !
He is a classless thug and a marxist punk, and now it is under his watch what happens to our country. He needs to learn like yesterday that his blaming Bush stops the moment he took his messed up oath.
Obama’s hate just keeps on coming!
For this type of politicized wording to be part of the official White House website, is schockingly unreal. So totally ‘un-Presidential’.
And another thing, Katrina was the biggest disaster on American soil and was due to Democrat corruption that caused the levies to never be fixed!!!!
Obama just started the fight today with his classless speeches, his attacks against Bush and his sorry assed supporters booing President Bush at his inauguration!
The Democrats are disgusting and the O leads the way.
Every time the O says “coming together “…… he should choke on those words. He is so full of it.
Bush cared a lot for what happened and went there several times. Plus all he did for Africa and other places. What the heck has Obana done for anyone EVER. His own brother lives in a HUT for pete’s sake. Plus where the heck was his grandma from Kenya yesterday. Why wasn’t she up in the seats on the main platform.
A government website is no place for partisan politics. Let alone, the White House web site. We the people PAY for that site, got that Kenya breath!!!
I found this absolutely disgusting…I guess I might have to get used to that feeling.
OK my rant is done, but later today I am doing extra time on the treadmil, haha I have to get this anger out of me. Till then. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr
“President Obama swiftly responded to Hurricane Katrina”
LIES from OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at this……………
McCain, Obama snubbed Gulf Coast after Katrina
The Hill
09/01/08

John McCain and Barack Obama are offering any help they can on Hurricane Gustav, but neither visited the Gulf Coast until well after Hurricane Katrina devastated the area in 2005.

On the six-month anniversary of Katrina striking the Gulf Coast, 39 senators said they had visited the area while 37 senators – including Obama – had not viewed firsthand the ruins that the hurricane left in its wake. Twenty-four Senate offices – including McCain’s — did not return repeated phone calls seeking comment, according to a 2006 survey conducted by The Hill. There were no media accounts of McCain traveling to the Gulf Coast before he went there in the spring of 2006.

Obama did visit Houston’s Astrodome to meet displaced hurricane victims in the fall of 2005.

That is the reason Obama says he is not traveling to the regions that are in Gustav’s path.

Yet, Obama did not visit the Gulf Coast until nearly a year after Katrina hit, becoming the 55th senator to go there, according to a tally kept at the time by Sen. Mary Landrieu’s (D-La.) office.

Obama said then, “There was no magic reason why now instead of earlier. We didn’t want to come down here unless there was something concrete and productive to do.”

In describing his rationale for not visiting the Gulf Coast this week, Obama said the “tail” of his staff, traveling media, Secret Service and local authorities could get in the way of hurricane-relief initiatives.

BobF says:

Unless that clown and his sidekick are going to actually go to New Orleans and start building, how is he going to rebuild it. The money has been allocated and is there. It takes workers to rebuild and it was a lot more than New Orleans that was devastated. Many construction workers don’t want to go back to New Orleans. They did their time and now they are getting on with their lives back home. Maybe Obama can get the residents of New Orleans to rebuild their own city…yea, right!

Bob A says:

Obama will be straightening out hurricane names and warnings.
As the Fla. hurricane season is only a few months away we must be sensitive
to our African American citizens (or what ever name they are going by these
days).
Black hurricanes….
Well, it appears our African-American friends have found yet something else
to be pissed about. A black congresswoman, from Florida, has complained
that the names of hurricanes are all Caucasian sounding names. She would
prefer some names that reflect African-American culture such as Chamiqua,
Tanisha, Woeisha, Shaqueal and Jamal.
I am NOT making this up!
She would also like the weather reports to be broadcast in Language that
street people can understand because one of the problems that happened in
New Orleans was, that black people couldn’t understand the seriousness of
the situation, due to the racially biased language of the weather report.
I can hear it now: A weatherman in Miami and Tampa says…
Wazzup, mutha-fukkas! Hehr-i-cane Chamiqua be headin’ fo’ yo ass like Leroy
on a crotch rocket! Bitch be a category fo’! So grab yo’ chirren, yo’ Ho,
be leavin yo crib, and head fo’ da nearest guv’mint office fo yo FREE shit!

The Louisiana governor was a dummycrat and the New Orlean’s mayor is also a dummycrat…LIES? I thought “WE ARE ONE?” Fasten seat belts, taxi, cleared for take off patriots and ‘ARMED’ switches ‘ARMED!’ WE have a lot of work to do.
I miss W’s http://www.whitehouse.gov website already. Fortunately I downloaded some of their most memorable pictures… Can’t wait for the 2009 Kwanzaa tree in the Blue Room! And the Ramadan carpeting in the Oval Office?

Mark says:

You forgot one item BobF, courtesy of ‘Yo white taxpayers’. The ones that work for a living.
Didn’t Bush promise $350 Billion to rebuild NO ? They managed to rebuild the Superdome, what has happened to the rest of the money.
Right now, it is convenient to Blame Bush for everything, shortly though it will be Barry’s problem and no one to blame but Barry. Then you will start hearing the excuses and still an attempt to blame Bush.

GUYK says:

Louisiana voters know what happened..and they kicked out the democrats and now have a republican governor…

drstrangeloveb52isok says:

But Jimmy Carter is good at rebuilding ‘houses’ I hear?

TomR says:

Why should a president rush to a disaster area anyway. He has staff for that. In this day of instant communications and internet, presidents can see immediately what is happening and what is needed. Local politicians probably do have an obligation, but the President! Presidents and Congresscritters do it for photo-ops.
Did Obama rush to Iowa during the massive flooding, or to California during the major brush fires or to Galveston for Hurricane Gustav? These photo-ops just interrupt rescue and rebuilding efforts. You notice that Congressional “fact finding” junkets are seldom covered by the press, especially in places like Tahiti, the Bahamas, Hawaii, etc.

Lynn says:

Katrina was LoBlanco’s and Nagin’s fault, not Bush. They can’t even get their facts straight. Even wonder why Loblanco isn’t governor anymore?
Bush asked if she needed help and she told him to stay out. Nagin should not have been reelected. He didn’t use those school busses to get those people out of harm’s way.
The press just loves to hate cowboys, don’t they?

BT in SA says:

Steve Gilbert over at Sweetness & Light keeps track of “stuff like this,” the lies. And, he captures the screen shots of the computer images so that when the “evidence” is destroyed it is really still there.
We can only hope [and pray – pray hard] that a few on the left join “us” when it becomes patently clear that BHO is no more than a little man, like the Wizard of Oz, hiding behind a curtain. Unfortunately tearing down that curtain [Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank, et al] has already proven to be even more horrendous than that hideous “gold couch slipcover” that BHO’s wife wore yesterday.
There is a bright side to all of this for me. I need to lose some weight. I’ve considered bulimia as a weight loss regime for a long time. The binge part is sooo easy. It’s the purge part that I couldn’t to. BHO is making that easy!*
[*I am very much not serious; and am not trying to make light of eating disorders.]

Les says:

I emailed this Politico story to some conservative friends with the following introduction.
Barack Obama clearly remains in his hate mongering campaign mode and doesn’t have the maturity or professional level of responsibility to be President of the United States. He surely doesn’t practice what he preaches when it comes to working together. This half-black, affirmative-action, arrogant SOB continues to repeat delusional views of what really happened during Katrina. He likes to forget that both Gov.Blanco and Mayor Nagin arrogantly refused to heed President Bush’s advice and federal assistance before Katrina hit land that unnecessarily left New Orleans and other Louisiana residents in mortal danger. Obama also conveniently forgets that prior to Katrina both New Orleans and Louisiana political hacks squandered federal money allocated for levees and coastal improvements for other local pork barrel projects. Obama also forgets that the New Orleans Hurricane Disaster plan told all residents, including the poor, disabled, and those without transportation that they were on their own when it came to decide when and how to get out of town before a hurricane hit. Remember the unused school buses?

Jack says:

“Democrat corruption that caused the levies to never be fixed!!!!” Well stated Chrissie.
The list is long but the Schools have been broken for well over 60 years that I know of, massive annual infusions of taxpayer money hasn’t fixed any of them.
The so called infrastructures that are damaged and need repair have all been under Democrat control, monies allocated go to token events and the rest goes to line the coffers of those on the grift or on the dole.
Road taxes from vehicle fees, fuel taxes and excise taxes are all collected to build, maintain and repair the highway system, all get diverted to ‘socio-economic’ programs neglecting the original reason they were imposed. The difference in the past and what is happening now is those funds will be ‘diversified’, split betwixt the current porch apes of the United States and those outside the United States – Reparations.

They say that the winners write the histories so I guess American History is in for some real heavy revision. We won’t recognize our country soon.
Bob A.: the best one of this short year so far. Keep up the good work!

TexasFred says:

What Obama NEEDS to do is ask *Chocolate Ray-Ray* what the hell HE did with the money that has already been sent to save all the *Chocolates* in NOLA… And yeah, I have written quite a bit about this topic since Katrina, I AM a Louisiana native and I know what those crooked bastards are capable of, and I also know that Obama won’t think twice about sending the crooked bastards even MORE of OUR money…
Birds of a feather, so to speak…

Wild Thing says:

BobF., exactly….”The money has been allocated and is there”…..I felt sorry for all those people and especially how Nagin did not handle things he messed up big time. So what did the idiots there do they re-elected Nagin.
Brainless wonders wanting more democrat corruption and idiots like Nagin.

Wild Thing says:

BobA., I am so disgusted with democrats. They never let up ok fine, then don’t ask me to give a hoot about them.
Thanks BobA.

Wild Thing says:

Darth, I am so glad you downloaded some things from there.

Wild Thing says:

Mark, yes and they better darn well stop this blame Bush stuff. I truly have had it with these low lifes.

Wild Thing says:

GUYK, good to see you, and that is great that they have a Rep. Gov.
I just wish they had not voted for Nagina agian.T
Thank God they have a Rep. Gov though. It is a big start that’s for sure.

Wild Thing says:

drstrangeloveb52isok, LOL yes, God help us from living in one of Carter’s house he built.

Wild Thing says:

Tom, good one!!!!!

Wild Thing says:

Lynn, exactly, your so right……. “Katrina was LoBlanco’s and Nagin’s fault, not Bush”
Yes they do, they have a thing for guys that are manly and stand for something and like you said they don’t like cowboys either. Give the left a limp wristed Kenyan, that is a communist and they fall in love.

Wild Thing says:

BT in SA, haha see I know what you mean. He makes me sick too. The binge part comes natural to me. I hate to think how much junk food I have eaten this last year with the campaign and the debates and then on the 20th. I kid them at the grocery store, well there is a debate tonight when they asked if we were having a party. hahhaha
Then I do more time on the treadmill. A vicious circle..haha
Thanks for telling me about what Steve Gilbert is doing over there too that is great!!

Wild Thing says:

Les, that is great, good idea and I like what you wrote.

Wild Thing says:

Jack, thanks and what you said will be what is going to happen. I bet your right.

Wild Thing says:

Horace, yikes, yes, I had forgotten about the part about writing history.
Thank you Horace.

Wild Thing says:

Texas Fred, yes birds of a feather is so true, thanks.
