We Voted Yesterday and YES for the BEST Candidates McCain/Palin!!!

As much as Obama wants to be President, that is how much John McCain and Sarah Palin love America.

.

We voted yesterday, the line was not long at all only about 70 people ahead of us, but we had perfect timing I think because as we were leaving the line was very long, cars lined up to pull into the parking lot and down the block.
There were lots of McCain/Palin signs and only one Obama sign within the legal distance they are allowed to have them. Only one for Obama. hahhaa yippee, we out numbered him. The ladies holding the signs many of them had cute Sarah Palin t-shirts on, some in pink saying Sarah Palin and others in red, white and blue saying McCain/Palin.
The men holding up signs, were Veterans and it was so cool they had their caps on with the Veteran pins on them that I love to see.
We gave every one of them a thumbs up and shook their hands when we came back out from voting. They said they were getting a lot more thumbs up then ugly looks so that is great too.
When we got inside to vote, I just had to say something, heh heh, as the lady was looking at my drivers license for ID etc. I asked her if I “may ask a question?”. She said yes and I asked her if the voting place had ACORN connected to it in anyway. hahahahaha She said no and the gentlemen behind her standing looked at me and smiled really big like saying I know what you mean kind of look. giggle
We met a really nice couple in front of us. In a quiet voice I said to Nicholas while we were in line, ” I loved the shirts for McCain Palin outside” and the couple in front of us turned around to say hi after I said that. It was my let’s see if anyone in front or in back of us is for McCain/Palin time. hahaha
Our ballots are paper and we mark them with a black pen they give us like a felt pen. It is not electric at all. Then the slip we have marked goes into a light cardboard sleeve they called “Secret Sleeve” that I had to put into a machine that literally sucked it out of my hand. hahahahahaa ZOOM and my vote was done.
Now we wait and pray our votes get counted and McCain/Palin win.

Eden says:

Good for you!
I had an encounter yesterday that I thought was interesting.
I have an RX that I have to pick up from my doctor every month because it can’t be phoned in or refilled, so I know the people in my doctor’s office very well…in fact one of them is getting ready to move into a rental house I own.
She came by yesterday to help me get ready to paint the interior of the house and I swung into political talk to feel her out. I don’t want to insult anyone who is voting for Obama, just try and talk them out of it.
Well, she didn’t know a lot of the things I do about his Chicago connections, just a couple names. But she gets it, he is a Chicago thug and I gave her some details about Rezko, Alexi G, and Gov. Blagojevich to confirm her suspicions (she’s already a McCain voter) that Obama is nothing more than a Chicago Machine generated politician.
In Illinois polls show Obama winning by 15-17%, but that is counting all those dead people who died in gunfire this summer in his district, and everyone’s dead aunt and uncle on the rolls in Chicago.
I doubt Illinois can be won by McCain, but I think with the ACORN controversies there will be much more scrutiny of voters’ rolls and hopefully, the dead will be allowed to stay in their graves this year.
I pray they are cross-checking death notices against the rolls to disqualify absentee voters, but I will say I think they have a decent method of flushing out bad addresses here.
My husband got his current card back in August. It’s non-forwardable, so if an address isn’t correct, they get the card back. Bingo, you have to fix your name, address or whatever is wrong or you are off the rolls.
I’m in downstate Illinois, not as likely to be as corrupt as Chicago, but I still like to see how the process works.
I’m voting in person. I am not under any time constraints and I want to see in person how they handle my precinct and see what the general feel is like you did of how many are Dem vs. Rep.
Plus I have a new outfit specifically picked out for my new SARAH PALIN AMERICAN FLAG DOGTAGS!
Yeah, I am hopeless about her. She has changed my mind about the possibility we might actually get an honest voice in Washington.

TomR says:

Eden, me too. Sarah has allowed me to vote FOR a presidential ticket for the first time since Reagan. The last four elections I have voted more against somebody.
Today I will vote. Looking forward to it.

Jack says:

We voted yesterday also. America First!!! Zero Democrats and 1 true independent. There were a lot of local ‘non-partisan’ positions, darned if the personal data base proved that wrong. Changing positions is like a leopard changing from the sun to the shade, it doesn’t change their spots and only makes them harder to discern.

Mark says:

I must live in a backward state, no advanced voting…Well then again this is Alabama, Pennsylvania, where all the, Crackers, Red-necks, Gun clinging, bible hugging, racist live , oh and not to forget our Xenophobia…so I guess it fits. Thats ok though, they only let us vote when election day comes around.
With that intro I can only vote for McCain-Palin. I can’t wait. Yes Sarah has really charged up the republican base. She is tops in my book.

Debbie says:

I can’t vote for anyone that only cares about attracting ONE race. McCain/Palin have nothing but white people at their rallies, and I thought that anyone running for an office as high as the President and VP of the United States would make it their duty to try and appeal to people of ALL races. Instead they are dividing the people, and seem content that their audience is predominently white, even though the U.S. consists of people of different ethnic groups. I would never vote for people with that type of mindset, because if they won’t be working for the good of ALL people then Palin and McCain don’t belong in office.

GM Cassel AMH1(AW) USN RETIRED says:

I will do my early voting at a church about a mile from the house. Be rest assured that my best US Navy Retired Ballcap will be on my head and I will have my ID ready along with a wallet sized Birth Certificate.
In Kansas we have early voting both in person and by mail. It helps here in Wichita due to the major industry having multiple shifts.

Mark says:

Debbie, debbie , debbie, why are you so blind. You have eyes and can not see. B. Hussein Obama is a racist, his pastor is a racist, Father Pfleger is a racist, William Ayers is a racist, Tony Rezko is a racist.
Obama’s rallies are a put on, he has not transcended race, as you would have everyone believe. His own wife is a racist, she has never been proud of her country, why because they hate White People.
If you are white and I suspect that you are, and if Hussein Obama is elected be prepared to be very disappointed and very poor. And of course be prepared not to be able to vote ever again. Because obama will cancel the next election. Obama is a Communist just like Vladimir Putin only obama doesn’t speak russian…Only gibberish, and you have bought it hook line and sinker.
You poor pathetic little whench, you know not what the hell you are talking about.

Wild Thing says:

Eden, thanks for sharing about that and also this is neat…..”Plus I have a new outfit specifically picked out for my new SARAH PALIN AMERICAN FLAG DOGTAGS!”

Wild Thing says:

Tom, big smile yes it sure feels good to vote for…thank God for Sarah.

Wild Thing says:

Jack good one…..”Changing positions is like a leopard changing from the sun to the shade, it doesn’t change their spots and only makes them harder to discern.”

Wild Thing says:

Mark, I wonder why some places have it and some don’t. We don’t live in a big city or anything. It is weird to vote early I had to get used to it. hhaaha I prefer to do it the actual day, but Nick can’t stand long lines and I can see his point.

Wild Thing says:

Debbie, why are you so hung up on color or race. It seems that is the only thing you care about.
So you are voting for Obama, well you are voting for the person that has made his campaign about race and so has his wife.
You have it completely turned around who the racist is, but I have a feeling that is how you want it.

Wild Thing says:

GM Cassel AMH1(AW) USN RETIRED, that is great. I love those caps.

Wild Thing says:

Mark, good one thank you so much.

Jack says:

Early vote counts have a deleterious effect that discourage same day voters from going to the polls if there is an overwhelming count in favor of the opposition being exploited by the media, don’t ever quit, one vote counts.
I prefer going to the polls in person but here in the Soviet the comrades have decided to vote by mail. (thence no ID needed in the sanctuary)Illegals feel just like native born and don’t have to show up needing an interpreter.
Oh, before I forget Debbie, being a racist myself, I have no objections to blacks attending any Republican rally, voting for a Republican or for that matter supporting a Republican, it is they, not us or I, who is barring themselves from inclusion. I do frown on communists, so if you are one I won’t welcome you. You, like Barack have chosen to make your case based on race only. Enjoy your furking burqa Deb.

Wild Thing says:

Jack, thank you so much.
Thanks too for telling about how the voting is where you are. I wonder if they have done some of that now back in Calif.Or they might still have both like they used to.
