Wild Thing’s comment……….
I could list the ones I am disappointed in their being there but you all know already who they are. Like all the rino’s and Lieberman is NO Zell Miller.
All I know for sure is we all need to pray for our country, for your troops and that if it is OK dear Lord to know there are those of us that do love America and have tried hard to wake people up including our political party. Amen

TomR says:

I agree with you WT. Some of these rino’s will be speaking just out of vanity to sell themselves. They will all be telling us how great and conservative McCain is, and we know he is not.
I will selectively listen to a few speeches, but I know most of the convention is just political hype. Makes me sick.

Wild Thing says:

Tom, yes it is all about hype sometimes it has a speech in it that is moving and awesome Like the one Zell Miller gave that shocked me how good he was. But then he was angry at his own party and totally supported the war and our troops.
Looking at the names I don’t see a lot of them that will make me want to stand up and cheer. This list though is pretty much what I expected unfortunately.

Jack says:

No emetic needed, looks to me like a feeble attempt by the GOP at damage control. The same tact my old labor union bosses plied on the rank and file who were risking it all on the pickets. The freak show needs a good song and dance man, in this case many of them.

Les says:

Ditto’s to what you all have said. This is a rogues gallery of anyone who calls themselves a Republican and a boring attempt to solidify the troops behind McCain. I will selectively listen to a few of the speakers. Jack is right about the need for a good song and dance man. As an alternative, just imagine if every speaker started off by telling the story about Barack Obama and Bill Ayers and the cover up of their relationship by denial of access to documents by the Richard J. Daley Library at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).

Do the voters have a right to know who Obama really is before election day?

Lynn says:

I can’t wait to see cousin Freddy on tv again! He is such fun in his mannerisms and rhetoric. He’s a man, not a boy. I wish he would have stayed in longer, but oh well…life does go on. Perhaps a cabinet spot will come his way and maybe that’s where he belonged all along. That’s what my family is good at–helping from behind the scenes and from the sidelines. I am definitely going to watch it and I want to see Sarah, too. She’s a pistol. She’s a woman all young girls can look up to.

Wild Thing says:

Jack, hahahah yes.
There are a few good ones in the list but I guess they had to go the rino route on a lot of them like Arnie. augh! He is such a waste.

Wild Thing says:

Les, thanks for the link in your comment and information.
Nicholas and I watch every evening as much as we can but not so much during the day. We watch both ours and theirs just to see if something outrageous happens. hahaha
Yes I sure hope a ton of stuff will come out in ads now about Obama. All they have to do is tell the truth and that is horrible enough.

Wild Thing says:

Lynn, me too, he should be one of the good speeches. I hope he uses some of the expressions that are fun to hear. I like it when they do that.
