ABC News
Hillary Clinton, in advance of the possibility that the Obama campaign will declare victory on Tuesday based on an advantage in pledged delegates, told a crowd Monday morning that a Democratic nominee will not be determined by tomorrow.
“This is nowhere near over. None of us is going to have the number of delegates we’re going to need to get to the nomination. Although I understand – my opponents and his supporters are going to claim that – and the fact is we have to include Michigan and Florida.” Clinton continued, “We cannot claim we have a nominee based on 48 states, particularly two states that are so important for us to win in the fall. So part of our challenge is making sure that we nominate the person most able to win. And I believe that I’m the stronger candidate.”
Clinton said later in her speech, “I’m gonna make my case and I’m gonna make it until we have a nominee – but were not going to have one today and we’re not going to have one tomorrow and we’re not going to have one the next day. And if Kentucky turns out tomorrow, I will be closer to that nomination.”
Wild Thing’s comment………
LOL there are some funny comments at the link for the article.
The Operation Chaos is still in effect for today so we will see what happens. I would love to see them go at each other up to the end. heh heh
She’s so deluded. She can’t win now and wants to cheat by making the votes in MI and FL count, when the delegates were taken away because they moved their primary up. Too bad, Hitlery–stop cheating.
The Dems have brought this disaster upon themselves by dividing and labeling people by race, gender, ethnicity, religion, age, education, and any other category that they can find. I am not a fan of Hillary Clinton but she is right in turning the spotlight on what is a very undemocratic and rigged primary process by what should be called the Un-Democratic Party.
As a conservative, I can only hope that this divisiveness carries to their convention and the general election. If the Dems cave and seat delegates from MI and FL at the convention they open the door for a full earliest state primary date election fiasco in 2012.
If the Dems don’t seat delegates from MI and FL at their convention then they admit that they are undemocratic and don’t represent all of the people and all votes don’t count. There will be many pissed off normally Democratic voters in those two states come November 4th.
A pox on the Democrats and, in particular, Barack Hussein Obama.
Les says it well.
I hope the Dems civil war lasts right through the general election. If they cannot even run a primary election, how can they run the country!!
Let them fight, let’s hope they stay out of the Supreme Court to decide their petty Communist differences. Buy Ammo!!! Off topic, the Kennedy malignancy has spread to Ted’s brain. I’m swithching off the news, enough for all of today!!!!
Lynn, hahaha one of her ex staff memebers today migiht be working on the Obama team. I never saw anything like this where a person running had so many people against them. After all those 8 long years of how the dems stood up for Bill Clinton and we were saying how awful he was now we see how so many of the dems have had enough of the Clinton’s. heh heh
Les I agree completely.
Tom me too and I would even cheer them on in their fighting. haha Get out the popcorn.
Jack, thatis my hope too, that they leave the Supreme Court alone.
Yes they have had almost all Kennedy stuff on since the announcement earlier today. It is sickening how they are worshiping him.
