The Vietnam Veterans Memorial has gone digital. The digital version is stitched together from more than 6,000 photographs. You can search for a name on the wall quickly and easily using the search box. It will take you to the name instantly.
Once you find the name, you can click on it. This will bring up details on the person, such as rank, hometown and cause of death. But you can help show the person behind the name. You can add photos and comments about your loved one.

I’ll have to check this out.
I have one on the wall and my hubby has two.
Distant cousins they were.
WOW WT……..This is so awesome!!!! Thank you so much for posting this so we can take a virtual tour of the Vietnam Wall!!! It is so easy to use…I was able to locate friends and classmates right away.
Thanks again!!!!!
There were several men killed whose names I did not know. I will always remember them, but wish I knew where they were on The Wall. There are several others I can look up. This is grand!
Kind of a side bar to this posting. I noticed last week that Paulette Carlson has again been asked by the National Office of Rolling Thunder to be part of their Memorial Day weekend program at the “Wall” on Sunday, May 25.
I am sure they will get to hear her tribute song to Vietnam Veterans several times over that weekend. As most of you know there have been a couple of songs specifially pertaining to Vietnam Vets, like Traveling Soldier, the 8th of November, and the “Wall”, but none of these address the thankless service that the Vietnam Vets gave to this Country. As many times as I have played this song, “Thank You Vets”, it is still hard to listen to with out tearing up, not because it is sad or brings back some bad memories, but rather because it reminds me how very Proud I am to have served with this band of Brothers. We recognized our value and service even if our Country did not. Thank you Paulette.

Thank you so much Chrissie, this is wonderful, I did send this to my buddy Bill, if he wants to link to it off my unit’s website. I did get to see the traveling wall years ago and it was a very rough day. God Bless.
Thanks TB, great song too, Paulette is a favorite, I sure miss her Highway 101 performances.
Here is Paulette Carlson’s Thank You Vets: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQKDsx-Kxd8
