Bush’s Sword Dance In Saudi Arabia

Bush doing the traditional Arab Sword Dance in Saudi

Wild Thing’s comment……..
I really am uncomfortable seeing this, I wish this kind of friendliness was seen with a good strong leader for Israel instead of a Saudi anything. But alas not only do we have a globalist leader that once was strong on the axis of evil, but Israel as well has a leader that misses the mark in being strong for his people.

W forgets that 9-11 hijacker Mohammad Atta and his 18 islamic butchers used swords / box cutters across the throats of our American and United flight crews. This sickened me to know end watching ‘Infidel One’ dance with wolves! Ronald Reagan and George Washington must be rolling over in their graves…

TomR says:

Later Bush paraded around in a man dress. That means that the Saudis will now love and respect us? That means they will cut off all funding for Wahabism? That means they will supply us with all the oil we need at $10 bbl? That means no more young Saudi terrorists attacking US and Western interests?
Or does that mean that the muslim world sees us as buffoons and easy targets?
Can you imagine Truman dancing with Tojo! President Bush’s actions are so alien to my concepts of reality I don’t really know how to comment. Even though he was a cheerleader in college, he does not know how to lead. If nothing else, in all the confusion, I have to refer back to Ground Zero. After 6+ years, it is still a hole in the ground and no reconstruction has even begun to show this enemy, that Bush fails to define, that we are serious about this war.

DD2 says:

I’m with you on this Wild Thing, it makes me very uncomfortable seeing this as well.

Jack says:

I’m beyond being shocked by this fawning sycophants behavior, the sickening thing is I steadfastly supported him until this past year along with the GOP. First time shame on them second time shame on me. His behavior reminds me of one William Avery Rockefeller, “Big Bill,” and his snake oil sales, pretending to be one thing and being quite the opposite.
Legacy Building at our future expense!!!

Les says:

As the saying goes, “a picture is worth a thousand words.” In this case, this video speaks volumes about Bush’s “do as I say, not as I do” bastardization of his own war on terror and it’s state-supported sponsors.
As an American Jew with strong ties to the State of Israel, I am disturbed and ashamed at George Bush’s reversal and now anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian terrorist policies. However, I am totally frustrated because Bush is only matching the suicidal radical left-wing liberal policies of the Ehud Olmert government. How can I expect the American President to be more pro-Israel than the Prime Minister of Israel himself? Grrr!

Rhod says:

Pondering this, I truly wonder if this guy is simply clueless, or arrogant, or just too close to the Saudi Royal family…or all three.
I recall growling that Nancy Pelosi donned women’s headgear in Syria, and now our damn President is strolling around in a robe with some bloated Saudi goon, begging him to reduce oil prices.
Bush seems to think that leadership means following his instincts no matter what anyone thinks about it. But leadership isn’t simply a political act, it’s a moral act.
Prancing around with the Saudis, who represent a regime antithetical to Western liberalism (in the good definition), is not only stupid, it’s wicked. The Saudis, among other things, have let thousands of radicals cross their borders into Iraq to kill American soldiers.
Hello, George? Nothing but cottage cheese above the eyebrows, and it hurts to say that.
Bush is simply a moral and political disaster, and it gets worse every day. He’s weak, capricious, feckless and confused.

Wild Thing says:

Darth,….”‘Infidel One’ dance with wolves!”…youjr right, that is what it is, and they are at our door and he dances with them? sheesh

Wild Thing says:

Tom, I think they see us as ” buffoons and easy targets”. I sure do, I would and I am not even a Muslim. I respect strength, always have, and this kind of thing goes way beyond respecting others culture. It is even beyond pandering to them.

Wild Thing says:

DD2, thanks, it would be remarkable to see us be strong on all levels and demand respect from these people. sigh Not going to happen.

Wild Thing says:

Jack you said it that is just what it is….”Legacy Building at our future expense”.

Wild Thing says:

Les I understand completely. Too bad Bush can’t lead by example. I keep thinking if he was strong on supporting Israel maybe it would shame Olmert to being better. Just an idea, but I am probably wrong.

Wild Thing says:

Rhod, your so right. And it does hurt to say,but it is all the truth.
