Chinese helicopter unit flies to Russia for military drill

A Chinese helicopter unit flew to Russia on Sunday to take part in a six-nation Central Asian anti-terrorism drill, a government news agency reported.
The 16 helicopters took off from a base in the Xinjiang region of China’s northwest on a 2,700-kilometer (1,700-mile) flight, the Xinhua News Agency reported. The Aug. 9-17 drill is being held by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, created by Moscow and Beijing to counter U.S. Influence in resource-rich Central Asia.
Wild Thing’s comment……..
You know things happening like this make me very uncomfortable. Two countries that truly are not our buddies, two counties that I would not want in my foxhole.
Exactly–what are these two commies planning?
We do have some very misplaced allegiances, I never have and never will trust either of those two countries. They both were the aggressor’s in their proxy wars against the United States after WWII. Pick any war in any country from 1945 to date and look at who was/is supplying arms, technology and agitators against the U.S.
We are tied in with China so tight economically, I wonder if we are now one of their provinces. It is not just Walmart anymore. Every place I shop I encounter “made in china” in tiny letters(everyone tries to hide it).
I keep hoping that the Internet Age will open China and Russia up to internal revolutions toward capitalism and democracy. Maybe. Otherwise our own out of control capitalists(globalists) will give us away to the rest of the World in their quest for never ending profit margins and stock dividends.
Maybe this is the reason for all the poison in our food supply from China, first they poisoned our animals then it was the poison toothpaste, this may not be a case of shoddy inspection.
Tom is right everything we buy is made in China and the stuff isn’t cheap. I can’t think of a single item that isn’t made overseas.
AT this point I would settle for anything made in Canada.
Now the Chinese are war-gaming with the Soviets, great. At this point I wonder how long Taiwan will remain free.
Sadly even the Chinese are drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico, but not the United States, we are too environmentally friendly, so friendly to the point of becoming depentant on countries like the Red-Chinese. Tjhat makes a lot of damn sense, … NOT.
I wonder if this is part of the North American Union, … Hey Bush, wake up.
Lynn, I tried to spell he-bee-gee-bees
hahahaha but that is what it makes me feel. It gives me the hebeegeebees.
Jack that is really interesting. That makes that saying about learning from our mistakes not to repeat them even more noticable to learn from.
Tom that is so true, so many thigns come from China.
Even on a slightly different topic. When the animal food thing happened I was shocked because I had never even known that so much of that animal food had to do with China. And they are not big lovers of animals so there was that concern too, they could have cared less animals died.
Mark, yessss, and that NAU is always hovering over us. I am really not a happy camper about that.
