In some areas it feels like spring and I know in many others the snow is still deep on the ground. I thought for those of you with snow still at your place you might like to see the first glimpse of spring in the flowers.

Can’t wait for my flower garden to start
blooming!
Warmer than normal here in North Texas. Our flowering trees are abloom and looking nice. The ground flowers will be coming soon. Hoping for Spring rains to ease our drought. Yes, Spring is nice.
Noisy around here. Sun out, sky of blue, white and gray, and the comforting sound of ice jams breaking up in the gutters and along the eaves and falling from the roof. You need a helmet.
And the cats were on the South porch sunning themselves. It’s great to be a cat with OINK feeding you, and lots of outbuildings to hide in, full of old quilts and straw.
I have a dream, that some cold night I invite all the critters inside on some sub-zero winter night — possums, coons, cats, birds, whatever. After bath and dinner, we pile into the big bed and watch ANIMAL PLANET, sharing a huge bowl of popcorn before falling asleep.
