Wild Thing’s comment…….
You mean you hate us? You really, really hate us? I just have one question though, what the hell is that Shiite cleric doing with his tongue???? Is he trying to figure out how to stick his tongue out at us or is that his impression of looking mean and dangerous. Good grief!
My first thought was Sean Penn in drag, since they don’t use the left hand for eating and his right hand is full maybe his mask slipped and he’s trying to tell us who he is, or it could be the that his tongue is the only appendage he he has left to stick out.
While the invasion of Iraq was a strategic necessity, I’ve doubted for a long time that we could alter the dynamic there over the long term. For one thing, the Shi’a are as determined as the Sunni to drag themselves, their children and extended families into a sea of blood. Islamism is the most morbid and retrograde set of ideas in life today.
Most of the ideological struggles of the past century were about how life was to be lived, even European fascism had a view of the future which involved living beings. Not Islamism. It’s the polar opposite of everything we fought against heretofore.
That this sort of thing should arise on this planet, at this time, is cruel and ironic. My view of this war, which I’ve stated elsewhere, is that “two men go in, one man comes out”, because there is no middle ground. The future will be horrifying by today’s standards, but when the simple struggle for survival finally takes hold, Muslims will be safe nowhere in the world. I take no pleasure in that, but it’s true.
Jack HAHAHAHAHAHA, it sure is odd!
Rhod, what you wrote should be a book.
“”two men go in, one man comes out”, because there is no middle ground”……
Perfect description of what is to come and in some ways is happening now.
I agree with you about the war. There is no other way it can be. It is a strong statement but it is true, the perfect truth.
Wow… those muslims really need to hire a better dummy-maker. If they insist on attacking a model Bush, they should use one that is recognisable.
That’s a very good point, Suricou. The dummy is just another example of the refinement of Islamist art. They’ve raced past Western artistic decadence into a whole new realm of Sock Monkey Expressionism.
Suricou your right.
