Former Democratic Delegate Urging Jewish Voters to “Switch Sides” and Vote for Mitt Romney (video)

Former Democratic Delegate Urging Jewish Voters to “Switch Sides” and Vote for Mitt Romney; Cites Obama’s Drive to put “Daylight” between the U.S. and Israel

Here is video of a new “Republican Jewish Coalition” ad featuring a woman named “Bryna” – a former Democratic Delegate – urging Jewish voters to “switch sides” and vote for Mitt Romney instead of Barack Obama. She cited Obama’s desire to put “daylight” between the U.S. and Israel as a major reason for her switch.

Bryna Franklin of Jerusalem is a lifelong Democrat and former chair of Democrats Abroad Israel. She voted for a Republican for President for the first time in her 80 years when she voted this year for Mitt Romney.

Bryna, a delegate to the 1992 Democratic National Convention and who served for years as vice chair of the Franklin County Democratic Central Committee in Missouri, explained her decision as stemming from a deep disappointment in President Obama on a range of issues.

Bryna has been an active and committed Democrat her whole life. But this year, like many other Jewish Democrats, she is calling on her fellow Jews across America to support Mitt Romney.

Charles Krauthammer On Chris Christie Disgusting Kissing Up To Obama

My take: I didn’t really care for Chris Christie’s praise of Obama today. To me it’s all political. Plus, what president wouldn’t offer help after a hurricane has just devastated the coastline of a half a dozen states. Anybody think all this is not political? How many times did Governor Rick Perry ask for a disaster declaration for the state of Texas when wildfires burned 2 million acres? Did the people of Nashville get a visit from Obama in 2010 when the entire city was devastated by massive flooding? How about the people in Henryville, Indiana when they were wiped off the map by the spring tornadoes that came through and killed 24 people, anything from Obama? Not a peep. It wasn’t an election year and those are not swing states.

What Obama is doing today is all about his own reelection. He’s behind in the polls and trying to look presidential while forcing Mitt Romney walk a political tightrope. He wants to convey the image that he’s in the Situation Room monitoring the Hurricane when in reality the only thing he’s doing 7 days before an election is monitoring polling data. Nothing else.

God bless Krauthammer.

I am NO fan of Chris Christie, I actually can't stand the jerk. In the past I have posted plenty of the reasons why. On a scale of 10 he would be a 3 as to that I am glad he is the Gov, instead of a dem. in so many areas he is not any different. With men like Rick Perry and Gov. Scott and Gov. Walker there is a huge difference then any of them and a dem.

Former National Security Adiviser Bud McFarlane: For Obama to Do Nothing is Dereliction of Duty

Benghazi: “Dereliction of Duty that I have Never Seen in a President of any Party. Outrageous”

Strong words from former National Security Adviser Bud McFarlane about President Obama and the Benghazi Scandal. McFarlane said it is impossible to think President Obama, who was in the White House as the brave Americans in Benghazi were under attack on September 11, did not know we had military assets that could come to their aid. To have known that and still do nothing, “is dereliction of duty that I have never seen in a President of any Party. Outrageous.”

Well said, that certainly what it is and Obama could care less. He only wants to protect his Muslims.

General Carter Ham Was Never Ordered to Save US Men in Benghazi ~ This Means It Lands On Obama!

FRICOM leader General Carter Ham was never given the order to secure the consulate in Benghazi. This is what the general told Rep. Jason Chaffetz after the 9-11 Benghazi terror attack.

That means only Barack Obama or Defense Secretary Panetta, the two men above the AFRICOM commander, never ordered an operation to secure the consulate. This was despite the many pleas for assistance coming from the consulate and annex.

Bigger than Watergate: Proof that Obama is Lying about Benghazi

FOX News reported earlier today that security officers on the ground in Benghazi had a laser planted on a target that was firing on the annex.

The team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound. The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Spectre gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights.

So there were two drones in the air recording the attack on the ground. And now we know the CIA team at the annex was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. The White House was able to watch the attack live back in Washington DC. Yet, yesterday Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said this,

“The U.S. military did not get involved during the attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya, last month because officials did not have enough information about what was going on before the attack was over.”

.

Caller into Rush Limbaugh show....................

ALLER: Well, there’s three networks, Rush. The e-mails that have been released are unclassified e-mails. On the top secret side, a flash traffic message from the embassy Tripoli to the White House Situation Room, it’s like an IM. I mean, it’s immediately responded to. You have to acknowledge receipt of it. Okay? So it’s immediate. It gets to the person, the watch officer sitting there, boom, flashes on his screen, he has to acknowledge receipt. And then there’s a protocol for who he then sends it to. He physically turns to someone, the senior guy on watch, “This is a critical element of information. POTUS needs to hear this,” and that’s what would have happened.

So no one in the White House can deny that — well, they can deny it, but the fact is the protocol says someone marched their happy little ass up to the senior guy standing next to POTUS and said, “Sir, ambassador in Libya is in peril.” And if he was missing, that is even a higher precedence. And then the chain would have also gone out automatically to the geographic combatant commander, AFRICOM, and he would have then turned to his special operations commander and said, “I want the In-Extremis Force, you know, strip ready in five minutes.” And evidently they were strip ready in Sigonella and they would have the assets to penetrate the airspace, you know, an MC-130 papa, which is a C-130 specially equipped with electronic countermeasures. They didn’t need permission to enter Libyan airspace, okay?

I’m giving you a lot of Inside Baseball stuff, and maybe putting myself in a little peril by doing it, but the In-Extremis Force, they would have been chomping at the bit to do this. It was turned down, POTUS, at his five p.m. Eastern time meeting with the principals, that’s when he put the kibosh on everything. It was a conscious act. It has to be because, you know, the In-Extremis Force is required to be prepared to do In-Extremis non-combatant evacuation operations for its geographic responsibility, the entire continent of Africa. So there’s always somebody ready to go, and the aircraft are always prepared to go.

Former Top Defense Official: If Obama Gave Order to Protect Benghazi Heroes There’d Be Paper Trail (There Was No Order)

Barack Obama told Denver’s WUSA TV this in regard to the Benghazi 9-11 terror attack,

“I gave three very clear directives. Number one, make sure that we are securing our personnel and doing whatever we need to. Number two, we’re going to investigate exactly what happened to make sure it doesn’t happen again. Number three, find out who did this so we can bring them to justice.”

Tonight however, Bing West, a former Assistant Secretary of Defense, told Greta Van Susteren,

“If that actually happened the way President Obama said it happened, there’s a paper trail and I think people reasonably enough can say, “Can we see the order?” because hundreds of others supposedly saw this order.

Obama just got caught. He lied about his securing our personnel in Benghazi. And now the world will know about it.
There was no order to protect our men on the ground.

Father of Navy SEAL Killed in Benghazi Terrorist Attack: Obama “Would Not Look Me in the Eye” – Video

Father of Navy SEAL Killed in Benghazi Terrorist Attack: Obama “Would Not Look Me in the Eye”

The father of U.S. Navy SEAL, Tyrone Woods, who died in the Benghazi Terrorist Attack, talking by phone with Glenn Beck yesterday. He described his encounter with President Obama and Vice-President Joe Biden as they received the body of his son back to the United States.

This father actually said Vice-President Joe Biden came over to him and said in a loud voice: “Did your son always have balls the size of cue balls?”

Mr. Woods was offended by the remark. On his encounter with President Obama, he said when Obama came over to speak to him “his face was pointed toward me, but he would not look me in the eye. His eyes were over my shoulder.”

.

In segment two, Mr. Woods shockingly says that Hillary Clinton told him that day: “We will make sure that the person who made that film is arrested and prosecuted.”

You people are worse then the Obama voters, because you claim to know better, you claim to love America and you don't and you whine and complain about Obama day in and day out and will do nothing to get him out of office.

Our country is at war with a true enemy within and you are playing games with some sick kind of thinking that is only giving the enemy the OK to continue.

Obama Reveals Next Goal: Control Executive Pay & Change How People Get Compensated

Obama Reveals Next Goal: Control Executive Pay & Change How People Get Compensated

Yahoo news

n an interview yesterday with Rolling Stone Barack Obama reveals that his next goal is to change incentives on Wall Street and how people get compensated.
Yahoo reported:

President Barack Obama said in an interview released on Thursday that the next important step for making the financial sector safer is to make sure executive pay is less closely tied to risky bets.

In an interview to be published on Friday in Rolling Stone magazine, Obama said that despite passage of Dodd-Frank financial reform legislation, there is more to be done to make financial markets safe after the damage caused by the crisis of 2007-2009.

“The single biggest thing that I would like to see is changing incentives on Wall Street and how people get compensated,” Obama said. It’s questionable, even after enactment of Dodd-Frank reforms, that those incentives have completely been changed, he added.

The Rolling Stone interview stirred controversy because of the president’s use, at one point, of a barnyard epithet that some saw as an attack on Republican Mitt Romney.

Obama is going to now lay his heavy government hand (illegally) on private citizens. All this from the jerk who can't even supply adequate security at an Embassy then lies for weeks about it.

Obama Says He Has “Absolutely” No Regrets About Ignoring The Economy During His First Two Years…

DesMoines register

Q: Yes, that begs a question from us, Mr. President. Some say you had a super majority in your first two years and had this incredible opportunity, but because of what you were talking about, as you were running, you had to go to get Obamacare done. Do you have any regrets taking on some of the economic issues, some of the issues that we’re talking about for your second term, that when you had the chance, so to speak, during your first — do you have any regrets that you didn’t do that at that time?

THE PRESIDENT: Absolutely not, Laura. Remember the context. First of all, Mitch McConnell has imposed an ironclad filibuster from the first day I was in office. And that’s not speculation. I mean, this is — it’s amply recorded. He gave a speech saying, my task is to defeat the President.

Must be noted.............

Powerful Democrats Helped Chinese Firm Get Stimulus Cash For Wind Farm

In February 2010 it was reported that 80% of stimulus dollars for wind power went to foreign firms- including China. ABC reported that a Chinese company is helping build a massive wind farm in west Texas. The firm will receive $450 million in Stimulus cash. The project will save or create 300 jobs in Texas and 2,000 manufacturing jobs in China.

Powerful Democrats, including Harry Reid, helped a Chinese firm get stimulus cash for a wind farm – a wind farm that his donors supported.
MSNBC reported:

Top Democratic fundraisers and lobbyists with links to the White House are behind a proposed wind farm in Texas that stands to get $450 million in stimulus money, even though a Chinese company would operate the farm and its turbines would be built in China.

The farm’s backers also have close ties with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., who, at the height of his hard-fought re-election bid this fall, helped blunt congressional criticism over stimulus dollars possibly going to create jobs in China by endorsing a proposal by the Chinese company to build a factory in his home state. Although his campaign received thousands of dollars in donations from the wind farm’s backers and Reid stood on stage with them at a campaign event they hosted, his office declined to answer any questions about the wind farm’s organizers or their plans for Nevada.

About that Obama Apology Tour: Mitt Romney is Right

Here’s a great compilation video that backs up Mitt Romney’s claim in last night’s debate that Barack Obama made his first major international trip an “Apology Tour.” Obama denied it, but his words are on film, speaking overseas talking about America being “arrogant,” “dismissive,” and “derisive.”

Romney is right. Obama knew it, but it is now not politically expedient to own up to the things he said in 2009 when he never dreamed he would be down to hoping to get re-elected just by the skin of his teeth.

Obama knew an Al-Qaeda linked terror group took credit for the Benghazi attack before the ambassador’s body was found

Reuters

Officials at the White House and State Department were advised two hours after attackers assaulted the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11 that an Islamic militant group had claimed credit for the attack, official emails show.

The emails, obtained by Reuters from government sources not connected with U.S. spy agencies or the State Department and who requested anonymity, specifically mention that the Libyan group called Ansar al-Sharia had asserted responsibility for the attacks.

The brief emails also show how U.S. diplomats described the attack, even as it was still under way, to Washington.

U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed in the Benghazi assault, which President Barack Obama and other U.S. officials ultimately acknowledged was a “terrorist” attack carried out by militants with suspected links to al Qaeda affiliates or sympathizers.

Administration spokesmen, including White House spokesman Jay Carney, citing an unclassified assessment prepared by the CIA, maintained for days that the attacks likely were a spontaneous protest against an anti-Muslim film.

A "Final Salute" to CSM Basil Plumley, a Man "Larger Than Life"

A tribute to a true American hero: Command Sergeant Major Basil L. Plumley. Veteran of WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.
Fort Benning held a ceremony at the Infantry Chapel in his honor where his daughter Kimberly and his close friends gathered to farewell an Army legend.

Retired Command Sgt. Maj. Basil Plumley died Oct. 10 at the age of 92. Plumley, who had five combat jumps, earned the Combat Infantryman Badge in World War II Korea and Vietnam (where he served two tours). He was one of 324 Soldiers to claim that honor.

Source

The Army's Bridgett Siter wrote this "final salute" to CSM Basil Plumley following his death on October 10 at the age of 92. This is well worth the read. H/T to Joe Galloway for sending out the signal on this fine piece of writing.

Tucked between pages 220 and 221 of a dog-eared copy of "We Were Soldiers Once … and Young" is a receipt from the Fort Benning commissary dated 2001. It serves two purposes; first, to mark the account of a remarkable incident that occurred in November 1965 during a battle between American forces and the North Vietnamese in the Ia Drang Valley; and second, to remind me that for a time, a giant walked among us.

In April 2001, the smoke had finally settled from the exodus of the film crew, the stars and cameras and hangers on who descended on Fort Benning earlier that year to film Hollywood's adaptation of We Were Soldiers. I was in the check-out line with my daughter and a friend, both 10-year-olds who had experienced first-hand the sensation that surrounded the presence of Hollywood royalty on post since their moms worked in the Public Affairs Office.

In walked retired Command Sgt. Major Basil Plumley and his wife Deurice.

I didn't introduce the girls to the Plumleys; they were on their way in and we were on our way out. But I explained who he was and reminded them that Sam Elliott played Plumley in the movie.

"He's a real hero, not an actor," I said. "He's the kind of hero Hollywood makes movies about."

The girls, of their own volition, approached the sergeant major to ask for his autograph. I held my breath, because I knew Plumley hated the limelight, no matter how "little" the light.

I had nothing to worry about. The girls bounded back smiling, with Plumley's signature scrawled across the back of my register receipt. That evening, I tucked it into the book for safe keeping, and there it stayed until last week, when I learned that Plumley died Oct. 10 at the Columbus Hospice after a short battle with cancer. He was 92.

I pulled the book off the shelf and turned to page 220 to review the brief account of an incident that happened on the second day of that bloody three-day battle between the Soldiers of the 7th Cavalry Regiment and 2,000 North Vietnamese forces:

"In the midst of this bedlam a blazing flare … streaked across the sky and plunged into the ammunition dump near the battalion command post. It lodged in a box of hand grenades, burning fiercely. Without hesitation, Sergeant Major Plumley ran to the stacks and with his bare hands reached into the grenade boxes and grabbed the flare. (He) jerked the flare free, reared back, and heaved it out into the open clearing. He then stomped out the grass fires touched off by the flares in and around the ammo crates."

Just one paragraph out of 430 pages -- a succinct account, unembellished, that encapsulates the character of a man who was larger than life long before his character hit the big screen. Oddly enough, that scene never made it into the movie. Perhaps it wasn't believable enough to pass muster with the masses.

Plumley's bravery in Vietnam was probably a mixture of inherent character and confidence gained on the battle field. The West Virginia native, who was born on the first day of 1920, earned the Combat Infantryman Badge in World War II, Korea and Vietnam (where he served two tours.) He was one of only 324 Soldiers to claim that honor.

"It Takes Your Breath Away"

He fought in more than 20 military operations during his 32-year military career, having enlisted on March 31, 1942, as a private after two years of high school. During WWII, he fought in the Allied invasion at Salerno and the D Day invasion at Normandy, and he made four combat jumps with the 320th Glider Field Artillery Battalion. He made another combat jump in Korea with the 187th Airborne Infantry Regiment. There are those who claim, but cannot prove, that he was the only man to claim five combat jumps behind enemy lines.

"It takes your breath away to think he survived all that. No one should have survived all that," said Joe Galloway, who co-authored the book with retired Lt. Gen. Hal Moore in 1992. Moore was the lieutenant colonel who led the 1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, into the Ia Drang, and Galloway was a UPI journalist assigned to the unit. (He was awarded the Bronze Star for helping rescue wounded American Soldiers under fire at Landing Zone X-Ray.)

The three became fast friends and remained close for nearly 50 years. Moore requires assistance these days, but he paid a visit to Plumley's bedside before his death.

"I am so blessed to have had two such men as best friends, as mentors and as role models for almost half a century," said Galloway, who has done more than any other to inspire new generations of Soldiers with the stories of old Soldiers, like Moore and Plumley.

But Plumley proved more of a challenge, even to Galloway. He never shared war stories and was known to hang up on reporters who called him.

"I don't do interviews. That's what he always said -- I don't do interviews," Galloway said. "I think he came to regret that decision, but once he made it, he stuck with it, and no one could talk him off it, not me and not Hal Moore."

I fared no better. On the one occasion I called Plumley and reminded him that we had met socially a time or two, he declined to speak to me in my role as a reporter and explained nicely that he'd been burned once by the media, badly. But when I approached him in person, after the screening of We Were Soldiers at the theater on Main Post, he offered this much.

"Too much Hollywood," he said of the movie. "It had too much Hollywood in it. That's all I want to say."

But apparently, Plumley had no issues with Elliott's portrayal. The actor "under played" the sergeant major, said Galloway, who introduced the two after Elliott had been cast as Plumley. They met at Plumley's house and chatted over coffee and Deurice's pie.

"I carried the bucket in that conversation. There I was with the two most monosyllabic men in the world in the same room, and I sat there between them. It was just grunts and growls for the first hour and a half, but then they got to talking," Galloway said. "When we left there, Sam said 'Joe, I think I'm going to try to talk like the sergeant major.' I said 'Well, Sam, it don't seem like that great of a reach to me.'"

Elliot and Plumley were "two peas in a pod," Galloway said, but "the sergeant major, in life, was bigger than Sam Elliott. Sam would tell you the same thing."

"He Just Had to Show Up, and People Paid Attention"

As a Soldier, Plumley defied convention as he defied death. Known as "Old Iron Jaw" to his Soldiers, he set his face like flint and led honestly, fairly and occasionally by intimidation, if need be. Galloway said the best lines in the movie were Plumley's own words, including his response to a Soldier who greeted the sergeant major with a "good morning."

"Who made you the (expletive) weatherman?" Plumley growled.

Earnie Savage was a young buck sergeant, an E5, when he met Plumley in 1964. Savage didn't frighten easily, but he tended to be overly deferential to anyone "above" him. And at 6 feet, 6 inches, Plumley towered over the young Soldier.

"It wasn't just his reputation, the sergeant major was literally bigger than life. He was huge, and when you saw him, you knew you better get your stuff straight," said Savage, who spent the better part of Monday standing post at Plumley's casket at a funeral home in Columbus.

Plumley was witty without effort and never long-winded, Savage said. "He didn't have to say a lot -- he just had to show up, and people paid attention. He was a lot like his reputation; he was gruff and he could be tough, but he wasn't mean. I never knew him to be mean."

To say he is a legend is not an exaggeration. The refrain "God may look like Sgt. Maj. Plumley, but he isn't nearly as tough on sins small or large," or some version there of, is commonly used in any discussion involving the man, and it was so long before his death and long before the movie.

He was also, in the popular vernacular, a PT beast.

In the months leading up to their deployment to Vietnam, Plumley and Moore worked their men hard. Ten-mile foot marches were the norm, and Plumley regularly ran long distances with his men, leading from the front.

"You'd hear him up front yelling, 'Awright dammit, pick it up back there,'" Savage said. "He was all about PT and conditioning, but he'd do everything he expected us to do. Without a lot of what we got from him and the colonel, I know some of us wouldn't be here today."

Plumley believed training, leading and disciplining Soldiers "was NCO's job, not an officer's job," Savage said. "He always said, 'If you lose a battle, it's the NCOs' fault.'"

His dedication paid off, when Plumley staffed the 7th Cav's 1st Battalion with Soldiers he knew to be highly skilled, well- trained and disciplined. He knew it because he trained most of them himself.
The Best Unit He'd Ever Served In
He said the (1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment) was the best unit he'd ever been in, the best trained," Savage said. "And it was, because he brought men he knew, a lot of them he'd trained and served with, and that's why we had such good leaders."

Plumley believed in training to standard, then raising the standard, said Steve Hansen, who served with Plumley in the Ia Drang.

"Being second at anything didn't count. He trained us to be the best," Hansen said. "We thought he was the dragon, but looking back, I know he was the moderator. He'd step in and speak up and tell the colonel when the men had all they could take. He took care of his Soldiers, trained them hard, but looked out for them."

Hansen said he was intrigued, some years back, when he came across a mention of "first sergeant" Plumley in a historical book about World War II.

"We all thought he was hatched a sergeant major, and here he was in black and white, a first sergeant. The passage wasn't very clear, just mentioned (Plumley) and something about a German tank," Hansen said. "He was a man of few words and a humble man; a lot of people don't realize that about him. He didn't brag, he just told you like it was. I asked him, 'What's the story about you and a German tank and he just grunted and said, 'Obviously I won.' And that was all there was to it."

Over the past few years, Plumley's personality changed noticeably, Galloway said. He became "almost loquacious -- a chatterbox," swapping old Army stories (but never war stories!) with old Army buddies. He attended events at the National Infantry Museum and seemed to fairly tolerate the limelight, such as it was. He thoroughly enjoyed hosting reunions that brought together dwindling numbers from that 'original' battalion of young studs who fought their way through hell together in the bloody Ia Drang Valley. A couple of years back, as his health declined, he relinquished his "reign" on the reunions. After Deurice died in May, Plumley said his time was short, he'd be joining her soon.

Tuesday, a crowd of more than 400 packed The Infantry Center Chapel to bid farewell to a giant. He was laid to rest with Deurice in the Main Post Cemetery.

Plumley received the Doughboy Award in 1999. His awards and decorations included Silver Star (one Oak Leaf Cluster); Legion of Merit; Bronze Star (one Oak Leaf Cluster and Valor Device); Purple Heart (three Oak Leaf Clusters); Air Medal (one silver and three bronze Oak Leaf Clusters); Army Presidential Unit Citation (two Oak Leaf Clusters); Army Commendation Medal; American Defense Service Medal; American Campaign Medal; Word War II Victory Medal; Korean Service Medal (with Arrowhead device and three campaign stars); Vietnam Service Medal (with one silver and three bronze campaign stars); Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal; Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation; Republic of Korea War Service Medal; United Nations Service Medal for Korea; Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation with Palm; Vietnam Campaign Medal; Combat Infantryman Badge (three awards); Master Combat Parachutist Badge (with gold star, indicating 5 combat jumps); Vietnam Army Basic Parachutist Badge; Order of St. Maurice; and Garry Owen Distinctive Unit Insignia.

Charles Krauthammer : "it’s unequivocal Mitt Romney won.”

Charles Krauthammer reacted to the third presidential debate at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. He said, “I think it’s unequivocal Mitt Romney won.”

Krauthammer told Megyn Kelly on Fox News that Romney won both tactically and strategically. He assessed that Romney had to show the American people that he was someone they can trust as commander in chief.

During the debate, he said, “Romney went large. Obama went very, very small – shockingly small. Romney made a strategic decision not to go after the president on Libya or Syria or other areas where Obama could accuse him of being a Bush-like war monger.”

Romney Great Debate! Fox News' Chris Wallace: You Would Have Thought Romney Was The President

Chris Wallace offered some instant analysis tonight after the third and final presidential debate at Lynn University.

Wallace said that if he’d been on a desert island for the last four years and parachuted in during the middle of the debate, he would have thought Mitt Romney was president and trying to hold on to the title, while President Obama was the challenger.

Wallace also called the president “slashing,” “personal,” and “cutting,” but said he found Romney to be focused on “the big picture” and that he “seemed to have much more of an agenda for the future.”

.

Chris Wallace provided an instant fact check of the claims made by both President Obama and Mitt Romney.

Wallace looked at several contentious moments throughout the debate, including the exchange in which Romney and Obama

went back and forth about whether the president wanted a Status of Forces Agreement following the Iraq War. Of this exchange, Wallace said, “It’s clear Romney was right, Obama was wrong.”

He also weighed in on Obama’s claims about the military. During a heated moment, the president said, “You mentioned the Navy, for example, and that we have fewer ships than we did in 1916. Well, Governor, we also have fewer horses and bayonets, because the nature of our military’s changed.”

Wallace pointed out that during the debate, a Marine tweeted Fox News Channel saying that the Marines still use bayonets.

Wild Thing's comment..............

I am glad Chris Wallace did the Fact check that was great.

Good Greif Again? Obama Heading Back to ‘The Tonight Show’ Wednesday Night for 5th Time

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama will be sitting down with Jay Leno on the set of “The Tonight Show” Wednesday, less than two weeks before Election Day.

NBC says Wednesday night’s appearance will be Obama’s fifth on “The Tonight Show,” his third since he became president.

Obama has been making the late-night rounds as the presidential campaign has picked up steam. He was on CBS’ ”Late Show With David Letterman” last month, and chatted with Jon Stewart on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” last week..

Obama just uses his office to do talk shows. Just like he uses the troops for photo-ops.

Barack Obama vs. John F. Kennedy on Taxes

One of the hot-button political issues right now is the 2001/2003 tax cuts and the impact of letting them expire at the end of the year. Democrats have raised questions about the wisdom of sticking with the "economic policies of the past." And it's true - tax cuts are an economic policy from the past, but not in the way you might think. It turns out there's actually a debate between Democratic presidents about just what these tax cuts mean for the economy...and in less than two minutes, this video highlights that debate.

Wild Thing's comment.................

None of Obama's agenda is acceptable to what our Founding Fathers wanted for our country. Everything about Obama goes against our country.

Mother Of Navy SEAL Killed In Benghazi Slams Obama’s “Optimal” Comments: “My Son Is Not Very optimal – He Is Very Dead”

Source

The mother of an American diplomat killed during a terrorist raid on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi has hit out at Barack Obama for describing the attack as ‘not optimal’, saying: ‘My son is not very optimal – he is also very dead.’

During an interview shown on Comedy Central, Obama responded to a question about his administration’s confused communication after the assault by saying: ‘If four Americans get killed, it’s not optimal.’

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline today, Pat Smith, whose son Sean died in the raid, said: ‘It was a disrespectful thing to say and I don’t think it’s right.

‘How can you say somebody being killed is not very optimal? I don’t think the President has the right idea of the English language.’

Wild Thing's comment..............

Obama's reaction from day one of this entire terrorist attack has been the worst one could ever imagine.

A full-page Mitt Romney campaign ad in today’s Cedar Rapids Gazette takes the form of an open letter from 13 Iowans who say they voted for President Barack Obama in 2008 but regret their choice and won’t do so again in 2012.

The letter is phrased as an apology, and lays out a case for why Romney, the Republican nominee is a better choice this time around.

“Mitt Romney will deliver the real recovery that President Obama has failed to bring, he’ll get Americans working again, and he’ll turn our economy around,” the letter says.

Study: Black Americans Feel Less Empowered Under Obama Than They Once Did

Study: Black Americans Feel Less Empowered Under Obama Than They Once Did

US News

Four years after Barack Obama was elected president, this is not exactly a "post-racial" America.

A new study from Washington University in St. Louis finds that under Obama, many black Americans feel less free than whites when it comes to political participation.

rom 2005 to 2011, only 45 percent of blacks said they believed the government would allow them to make a public speech, while 67 percent of whites believed they could, the study found.

The study found that while the election of Obama initially boosted feelings of political empowerment among black Americans, those sentiments significantly faded in the years that followed—especially among conservative and religious blacks.

These two groups make up a large segment of the black population, with 56 percent of blacks identifying as "born again," and 39 percent of blacks as "somewhat conservative," according to the study.

"First we saw the 'empowerment effect,' the boost that happens when a member of your group gets elected to an important political position," says study author James L. Gibson, a professor of government and African-American studies at Washington University. Gibson's findings are based on national surveys conducted between 2005 and 2011.

In 2009, the year after Obama was elected, 71 percent of blacks reported feeling as free to speak one's mind as they used to.

"But then perceptions of political freedom deteriorated among conservative and religious blacks," says Gibson. By 2011, the percentage of blacks who felt as free to speak their mind had dropped to 56 percent, back to pre-Obama levels. (White Americans also reported feeling less free to speak one's mind under Obama, but the decline was far less than among blacks).

That split may have begun when Obama dismissed Pennsylvania voters in 2008 who "cling to guns or religion." But Gibson says many conservative and religions blacks likely believed when Obama was first elected that he would protect their interests as president. "Race produces a level of trust and confidence that one is on your side," he says.

Over time, that confidence eroded. Gibson cites the contraception debate between the White House and some religious leaders that erupted last year. Black Americans, he notes, are traditionally conservative on social issues.

Another schism may have centered on gay marriage. The Democratic-leaning Coalition of African-American Pastors, for example, recently said they felt "marginalized" and "ignored" by Obama's seemingly sudden support for same-sex marriage.

Religious fundamentalists and conservative blacks, Gibson says, "have seen their efforts to participate in public life [under Obama] being thwarted over and over and over again."

Wild Thing's comment............

I remember posting several things about the black preachers being very upset with Obama and even telling their churches not to vote for him this time.

Former Obama Aide Once Labeled White House “Hostile” to Female Employees

During the debate debate, President Obama and Mitt Romney tried to garner support from female voters. The Obama campaign has accused the Republican candidate of a so-called war on women. However, it was in fact a former aide to the Obama administration who once called the White House “hostile” to female employees.

Anita Dunn, who recently served has Obama’s moderator during debate prep, was also the former White House communications director. She was quoted in Ron Suskind’s book ‘Confidence Men’ saying, “This place would be in court for a hostile workplace … because it actually fit all of the classic legal requirements for a genuinely hostile workplace to women.”

Sean Hannity reported on his show, “Since Obama has been president, we have half a million fewer women working, 0.5 percent increase in unemployment for women, the poverty rate for women in this country right now is 16.3 percent.”

Syndicated columnist Michelle Malkin joined Hannity tonight to react to this fact checking. She said, “If this record existed under a Republican administration, it would be branded misogynist with a capital ‘M.’”

Actor Scott Baio Speaks Out for Mitt Romney and Fixing America (Video)

he actor, now starring in Nick at Nite’s new comedy, “See Dad Run,” stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Friday where he explained why he supports the Republican Presidential nominee.

“I believe in Governor Romney for a lot of different reasons. I’ve met him many times and he’s a straight up guy, he’s a good guy, great family man [and] his kids are fantastic,” Scott told Kit Hoover and Billy Bush. “I think we need to be fixed in this country.”

Scott said being a Republican in typically-left-leaning Hollywood can be intimidating and he feels for actress Stacey Dash, who recently faced a barrage of mean-spirited comments after revealing she’s voting for Romney.

“I don’t think anybody should bash anybody for what they believe. I have my beliefs, you have yours,” he said. “Just leave her alone, let her say what she wants to say. Freedom of speech.”

Adding, “I don’t know why they’re beating [Stacey] up the way they are – I really don’t.”

Scott, a self-proclaimed “big Reagan guy,” frequently engages in political discussions with Democrats on Twitter and said he doesn’t understand why some people become so heated over a difference of opinion.

“I have conversations with people who don’t see eye-to-eye with me all the time. I don’t get in wars with them – I just say, ‘Hey, it’s what you believe. I still like you,’” he said. “I’ve got no problem with anybody.”

The former “Charles in Charge” star has been actively involved in the Romney campaign and plans to continue to help out however he can.

Catholic Bishops Issues Statement Slamming Biden For Lying About HHS Mandate During Debate…

At the vice presidential debate Joe Biden argued,

“No religious institution—Catholic or otherwise has to pay for contraception, none has to be a vehicle to get contraception in any insurance policy.”

Paul Ryan correctly pointed out that if this was true then why is the Catholic Church suing the Obama Administration?

.

Catholic Bishops Issues Statement Slamming Biden For Lying About HHS Mandate During Debate…

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) issued the following statement, October 12. Full text follows:

Last night, the following statement was made during the Vice Presidential debate regarding the decision of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to force virtually all employers to include sterilization and contraception, including drugs that may cause abortion, in the health insurance coverage they provide their employees:
“With regard to the assault on the Catholic Church, let me make it absolutely clear. No religious institution—Catholic or otherwise, including Catholic social services, Georgetown hospital, Mercy hospital, any hospital—none has to either refer contraception, none has to pay for contraception, none has to be a vehicle to get contraception in any insurance policy they provide. That is a fact. That is a fact.”

This is not a fact. The HHS mandate contains a narrow, four-part exemption for certain “religious employers.” That exemption was made final in February and does not extend to “Catholic social services, Georgetown hospital, Mercy hospital, any hospital,” or any other religious charity that offers its services to all, regardless of the faith of those served.

HHS has proposed an additional “accommodation” for religious organizations like these, which HHS itself describes as “non-exempt.” That proposal does not even potentially relieve these organizations from the obligation “to pay for contraception” and “to be a vehicle to get contraception.” They will have to serve as a vehicle, because they will still be forced to provide their employees with health coverage, and that coverage will still have to include sterilization, contraception, and abortifacients. They will have to pay for these things, because the premiums that the organizations (and their employees) are required to pay will still be applied, along with other funds, to cover the cost of these drugs and surgeries.

USCCB continues to urge HHS, in the strongest possible terms, actually to eliminate the various infringements on religious freedom imposed by the mandate.

Wild Thing's comment........

I hope Catholics wise up this election and put country before their kool-aid drinking. The same thing with the high percentage of Jewish people. Maybe they have finally learned what Obama and his agenda are about. Let's hope and pray so anyway.

Obama Had Video All Along That Showed There Was No Protest at Benghazi Consulate ~ WOW This is VERY Bad!

Video From Benghazi Consulate Shows Organized Attack

For the last month the Obama Administration has misrepresented the 9-11 terror attack in Benghazi that left four Americans dead including the US ambassador to Libya. President Obama and his administration repeated the line that protesters gathered outside the consulate before the deadly attack.

Now we learn that all along the Obama Administration had video of the 9-11 terror attack. And that there was no protest....it was as most of us figured a terrorist attack.

Video footage from the United States consulate in Benghazi, Libya, taken the night of the Sept. 11 anniversary attacks, shows an organized group of armed men attacking the compound, according to two U.S. intelligence officials who have seen the footage and are involved in the ongoing investigation. The footage, which was recovered from the site last week by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, offers some of the most tangible evidence yet that a military-style assault took place, according to these officials.

The Obama administration has been studying the videos, taken from closed-circuit cameras throughout the Benghazi consulate’s four-building compound, for clues about who was responsible for the attack and how it played out. The two officials tell The Daily Beast that analysts are hoping to decipher the faces of the attackers and match them up with known jihadists.

The videos could also play into an expanding investigation by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform that is looking at whether security steps could have been taken that would have saved the life of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans killed that day. Rep. Jason Chaffetz, who is one of the Republicans leading the House investigation, says he hasn’t been given the footage.

In addition to the footage from the consulate cameras, the U.S. government is also poring over video taken from an overhead U.S. surveillance drone that arrived for the final hour of the night battle at the consulate compound and nearby annex.

Video from the compound’s cameras debunk the initial line from the Obama administration that there was a protest in front of the consulate on the night of the attacks, according to one of the U.S. intelligence officials who has seen the footage, and a senior Obama administration official familiar with what they show.

Coal Miners Hold Press Conference in Harrisburg to Stop Obama’s “War on Coal”

Source

HARRISBURG, PA- FreedomWorks for America will join conservative activists and a group of coal miners from Western Pennsylvania to hold a press conference calling for President Obama to stop his “War on Coal.” With high unemployment, high gas prices, and rising costs of utilities, Americans cannot afford four more years of President Obama and liberal Senate Democrats like Bob Casey.

Speakers will include: Co-Founder of the Kitchen Table Patriots Anastasia Przybylski, FreedomWorks fellow Tom Borelli, Outreach Director Deneen Borelli, former PA State Senator John Pippy, grassroots activist Mark Fischer and coal miner Gary DuBois.

WHEN: Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 2-2:30pm ET, including Q&A following the prepared statements.

WHERE: Harrisburg Capitol Rotunda, Harrisburg, PA.

WHY: The purpose of the press conference is to raise awareness of the Obama Administration’s harmful energy agenda and burdensome regulations that continue to reduce America’s demand for coal as a clean energy resource. FreedomWorks for America believes excessive regulations on energy production are harming the living standards for hard-working Americans, including coal miners and their families.

Wild Thing's comment..........

I hope they have a huge turnout. I really think the Coal miners that did vote for Obama in 2008 will not vote for him again, I think they can see how dangerous he is to their jobs and to our country. When Mitt had rallies with the coal miners the crowds were huge and the response was so great.

Liz Cheney:" Obama Administration is Engaging in “One of the Worst Cover-Ups in the History of the Republic” - video

Liz Cheney Says the Obama Administration is Engaging in “One of the Worst Cover-Ups in the History of the Republic” over the Benghazi Terrorist Attack that Killed Four Americans

Here is video of Liz Cheney on with Sean Hannity tonight where she said the Obama Administration’s cover-up of what happened with the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya is “one of the worst cover-ups, probably in the history of the Republic.”

For days the Obama White House claimed the attack was caused by an anti-Islamic video, when it is clear they knew within 24 hours it was an Al-Qaeda terrorist attack. The cover-up may be connected to repeated requests for additional security that was denied by the Obama State Department, even though numerous smaller attacks and incidents had taken place for months leading up to September 11, 2012, when U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed in Benghazi.

Two-thirds of voters find White House's changing story on Libya consulate attack 'troubling'

In the aftermath of the September assault on diplomatic facilities in Libya that killed a U.S. ambassador and three other Americans, Obama administration officials falsely claimed it was a spontaneous reaction to an offensive online video, even though they had intelligence reports that the attacks were connected to terrorist groups tied to al Qaeda.

Two-thirds of voters (67 percent) find it “troubling” that the White House initially made false public statements about the attacks.

Wild Thing's comment.............

Those polled should be bothered and very concerned. The comments Obama made about the attack and the deaths, the lies and changing stores.....so many things should alarm all Americans.

CEO to Workers: You’ll Likely Be Fired If Obama Is Re-elected

CEO to Workers: You’ll Likely Be Fired If Obama Is Re-elected

‘If any new taxes are levied on me, or my company, as our current President plans, I will have no choice but to reduce the size of this company’

David Siegel, the owner of Westgate Resorts, sent a surprising email to his employees Monday.

It said that if President Barack Obama wins re-election and raises Siegel’s taxes, he will have to lay off workers and downsize his company — or even shut it down.

“If any new taxes are levied on me, or my company, as our current President plans, I will have no choice but to reduce the size of this company,” he wrote. “Rather than grow this company I will be forced to cut back. This means fewer jobs, less benefits and certainly less opportunity for everyone.”

In a version of Romney’s “47 percent” remarks, Siegel added that “people like me who made all the right decisions and invested in themselves are being forced to bail out all the people who didn’t. The people that overspent their paychecks suddenly feel entitled to the same luxuries that I earned and sacrificed 42 years of my life for.”

The points are ones that have often been made during this election. But what makes the letter surprising is the source.

David Siegel is the man who, together with his wife, Jackie, built the largest new house in America, known as “Versailles.” His story first appeared in my book, “The High-Beta Rich.” It then made it to the big screen with the documentary film “The Queen of Versailles.”

You can continue article by clicking here.........

Wild Thing's comment............

I know of two companies here in Sarasota that are saying this same thing. One has already begun to close several of their offices and letting 1/3 of their employees go for this vary reason. Some other businesses are putting their full time employees on part time so they do not have to pay insurance for them.

The only thing I wish would be that these employees tell their employees that is is due to Obama and his agenda.... THAT might help these morons to wake up that voted for Obama and think they can still have the same America they had before. Let them know in their face what their stupid vote for the Muslim Obama has cost our nation.

Wife Of Army Sniper Killed In Afghanistan Overjoyed To Hear Romney Talk About Her Husband, “One Of The Last Things He Said To Me Was ‘I Need A New President’”

Jane Horton began crying on the other end of the phone when she learned that Mitt Romney had been using the story of her husband, Chris Horton, who was killed in Afghanistan, as a part of his stump speech.

“Wow,” the 26-year-old said. “I had no idea.

“One of the last things my husband said to me before he was killed, when I would ask him, ‘Chris, what do you need over there? What can I send you?’ he said, ‘I need a new president,’” Horton recalled.

Chris Horton, who was acting as a combat sniper in the Oklahoma National Guard, was killed when he and several others were ambushed in Paktya, Afghanistan, in September 2011. When he was buried, protestors from the Westboro Baptist Church turned up at his funeral, and as Romney now tells it to crowds of thousands, his wife wasn’t angry.

“She was asked what do you think of that and this is the quote she said this, ‘Chris died for them to be able to protest,’” Romney said at a rally last weekend in St. Petersburg, Fla. “This is quite a nation we live in. There are some extraordinary people.”

God bless this wife of a Hero. She is a Hero too for taking a stand for her husband.

R.I.P. Chris Horton.

Actress Stacey Dash Endorses Mitt Romney

Stacey Dash on Romney: ‘I Chose Him Not By the Color of His Skin But the Content of His Character’

STACEY DASH: I just feel that as a country, this is my choice. This is the man I want to lead my country. It is my right as an American cit
izen. It’s my Constitutional right to have my choice of who I want to vote for for President. And I chose him not by the color of his skin but the content of his character.

PIERS MORGAN, HOST: Have you heard from Mitt Romney at all?

DASH: Yes, well not Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan.

MORGAN: Paul Ryan rang you today?

DASH: Yes, he did.

MORGAN: What did he say?

DASH: He said, “Thank you so much for your support,” and that I was brave, and they support me, and I thought that was so generous and kind. You know? Lovely. Really

MORGAN: Have any of the Obama campaign (unintelligible)?

DASH: No, they haven’t.

MORGAN: What does it say to you about the state of the political discourse and the debate in America that one innocuous tweet from you, purely because you’re an actress and the color of your skin, sparked this kind of mayhem?

DASH: I think it tells me that our, the state of our country is that we are not united. You know? We need to be united, and we all need to understand that we’re all capable of achieving the American dream. And, but that has to be something that is self-realized. And also to demonize someone for achieving the American dream is unfair.

Wild Thing's comment..........

I am proud of Stacey, I tweeted to her and thanked her and told her she was very brave. To hang in there that she had a lot of support. She was getting a ton of attacks because she spoke out, which happens a lot to conservatives in Hollywood.

Steve Wynn On Obama: "I'll Be Damned If I Want To Have Him Lecture Me

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2012/10/09/steve_wynn_on_obama_ill_be_damned_if_ill_have_him_lecture_me.html

Steve Wynn On Obama: "I'll Be Damned If I Want To Have Him Lecture Me

On the Tuesday broadcast of the nightly Nevada political program "Ralston Reports," Steve Wynn, CEO of Wynn Resorts sat down with host Jon Ralston to discuss the presidential election.

Wynn, an outspoken critic of President Obama, didn't hold back in his latest criticism of the incumbent president seeking a second term.

"I'll be damned if I want to have him lecture me about small business and jobs. I'm a job creator. Guys like me are job creators and we don't like having a bulls-eye painted on our back," Wynn said about Obama to Ralston. An excerpt of the interview is below.

WYNN: I've created about 250,000 direct and indirect jobs according to the state of Nevada's measurement. If the number is 250,000, that's exactly 250,000 more than this president, who I'll be damned if I want to have him lecture me about small business and jobs. I'm a job creator. Guys like me are job creators and we don't like having a bulls-eye painted on our back.

The president is trying to put himself between me and my employees. By class warfare, by deprecating and calling a group that makes money 'billionaires and millionaires who don't pay their share.' I gave 120% of my salary and bonus away last year to charities, as I do most years. I can't stand the idea of being demagogued, that is put down by a president who has never created any jobs and who doesn't even understand how the economy works.

Wynn on a scrapped business plan: "I'm afraid of the president. I have no idea what goofy idea, what crazy, anti-business program this administration will come up. I have no idea. And I have to tell you Jon that every business guy I know in the country is frightened of Barack Obama and the way he thinks."

Wild Thing's comment...........

Good for Steve Wynn. He has spoken out before about Obama but I think this time it was even stronger.

" What did Obama Know, Know, and When Did He Know It?” Onthe Terrorist Attack on U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya

Devastating New “American Crossroads” Web Ad Hammers Obama on Terrorist Attack on U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya: “What Did this President Know, and When Did He Know It?” – Video

Here is a new “American Crossroads” ad that destroys Barack Obama and his administration’s story that the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya was just a spontaneous riot over a video that went horribly bad. The web ad details the timeline of what happened, and what Obama and his White House knew, despite waiting 14 days to use the word “terrorism.” The ad asks, “What did this President know, and when did he know it?”

This growing scandal could move into high gear with a Congressional Hearing on it beginning tomorrow. The mainstream media are digging into it more. It could play a big role in the last two Presidential Debates – particularly the final debate, which will focus on Foreign Policy.

Wild Thing's comment..........

If this had been a Republican president we would be well on our way for drastic measures. But since it is Obama he will probably get away with it just like he has everything else he has done against our country.

Mitt Romney Tells about Meeting one of the Navy SEALs Who Died in the Terrorist Attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya

Here is video of Gov. Mitt Romney today delivering a moving tribute to fallen Navy SEAL Glen Doherty, who was killed in the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Romney told of how he happened to meet Doherty by chance a couple of years ago at a Christmas Party they actually went to by accident, believing it to be a party they had gotten a flyer about in their neighborhood. Romney spoke with emotion about how impressed he was by this young man, and about finding out Doherty had died in the attack. Romney said Doherty had rushed to the Consulate from a safe place across town to render aid when they heard the attack was underway. He praised Doherty as an example of the American Spirit.

ABC News Reports: Obama State Dept. Now Confirming there Never was any Kind of Protest outside the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi the Day Four Americans were Killed; Directly Contradicts Story Told by Obama White House for Days; Congressional Hearing Tomorrow

From ABC News tonight where anchor Diane Sawyer brought reporter Jonathan Karl on to report that the Obama State Department is now admitting that there never was any kind of protest outside the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya the day Ambassador Chris Stevens, and three other Americans were killed in a terrorist attack. You remember that for days the Obama Administration claimed the killings were the result of a spontaneous riot over an anti-Islam film. As late as five days after the attack, U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice went on five Sunday Shows and made that claim. Now the admission comes that there never was a riot of any kind.

Obama Won't Allow American Flagship Cruise Industry to Build Cruise Ships Here in USA NO Tax Dollars to be Used

Obama Won't Allow American Flagship Cruise Industry to Build Cruise Ships Here in USA NO Tax Dollars to be Used

Marine Link.com

Don’t look now but the Obama Administration torpedoed the American Flagship project’s long-planned, private sector funded initiative to build cruise ships here in America.
Marine Link reported:

As Royal Caribbean Cruises confidently orders its third Finnish-government-financed Oasis-class ship, the Obama Administration slams the door on American competition in this $40 billion-a-year industry supported almost entirely by US passenger revenues. The American Flagship project claims Obama bulldozed its long-planned, private sector funded, job-creating initiative – perhaps to spur already prolific foreign-flag campaign contributions.

According to World City America Inc., the Finnish government has agreed to finance a third Royal Caribbean cruise ship while the Obama Administration dictates that the American economy and American jobs will be preempted from competing in this US-driven market. World City advises that the US Maritime Administration has arbitrarily dictated that the nation’s ship financing program cannot be used to build cruise ships despite the fact that the cruise sector is the only segment of the international shipping industry that has consistently done well, year after year, for decades.

Stephanie Gallagher, President of World City America Inc., which company has spent decades and over $60 million trying to capture a fair share of this US-passenger-dependent industry, claims that the Obama Administration has not only “missed the boat” of American opportunity to create and sustain thousands of new jobs and billions in new tax revenues, at no cost to the taxpayer, and with only managed risk, but that President Obama has gone further and dictated that the nations’ ship financing program will not be used to access this huge market.

“It’s a shot in the head,” claims Gallagher. “The Obama Administration, not unlike prior administrations, has enjoyed the foreign-flag cruise lobby largesse and largely ignored the fact that this US-passenger-dependent industry competes with US hotels, resorts, casinos, and other hospitality organizations without having to pay taxes or hire Americans.”

“It’s amazing to me,” said Gallagher, “that the President bragged just last week that he ‘walks the talk’ when it comes to a level playing field and giving Americans a fair shot in the global economy.”

“In reality,” said Gallagher, “American passengers support a $40 billion-a-year industry that found a way to beat the system — to avoid hiring Americans or paying taxes on their multi-billion-dollar revenues.”

“Our organization,” says Gallagher, “found a way to compete by designing a superior product that Royal Caribbean has, in many respects, emulated with their 5,400-passenger Oasis-class ships. But we went further and found an internationally competitive way to build the ship here in America, to fly the Stars & Stripes, to pay taxes, to hire Americans, and to play by the rules.”

“Having demonstrated that our plan would be economically sound, would not cost the taxpayers anything, would not increase the debt but would improve the deficit, the only way to push us off the cliff was to enact policy that preempted the nation’s ship financing program from being used to build cruise ships. That’s what the Obama Administration did,” claims Gallagher.

“All is fair in love and war,” Gallagher concedes, “but don’t tell the American people that you wake up every day thinking of ways to give the American workers a fair shot in the global economy. Don’t claim to ‘walk the talk’. Just keep talking and getting those foreign-flag campaign contributions into campaign coffers while Finland scurries to save its shipyards and thousands of jobs, fair play or not.”

Wild Thing's comment........

Obama just keeps pushing buttons and feeding the hate that true Americans have for his Muslim loving America hating ass. .

Florida School District Lets Dem Group Register Kids to Vote, But Not GOP

Florida School District Lets Dem Group Register Kids to Vote, But Not GOP

Pasco County Schools in Florida allowed Democrats to register kids to vote and speak to classes but not Republicans.

Florida Republicans are outraged after a school district allowed a pro-Obama organization to conduct student voter registration drives and deliver speeches to classes – but denied the Romney campaign similar opportunities.

Pasco County Schools confirmed to Fox News that volunteers from Organizing For America were given access to as many as a half dozen high school and middle school campuses.

“They did register students to vote,” spokesman John Mann told Fox News. “We don’t know how many children were registered – (but) we have an ongoing investigation.”

According to email correspondence obtained by Fox News, volunteers tried to infiltrate at least three other school campuses – but on-campus officials rebuffed those efforts.

In addition to voter registration, a former teacher was allowed to deliver Obama speeches to a number of senior high school students.

“She got into six classrooms and gave pro-Obama speeches – like way off to the left,” said James Mathieu, general counsel for the Pasco County Republican Party. “That got out to parents and parents complained.”

Matthieu told Fox News he has filed a complained with the Florida Division of Elections and also contacted the Florida Attorney General’s office.

“We have a liberal culture in our school system and we know that,” he told Fox News. “The problem is someone has used false credentials, false pretenses and there is a security issue.”

Mathieu said that some of the Organizing for America volunteers identified themselves to school officials as being with the local elections office.

Former Navy SEAL: Obama Campaign Has ‘Exploited The Military’

Former Navy SEAL: Obama Campaign Has ‘Exploited The Military’

President Barack Obama’s campaign has “exploited the military” for political gain, the president of Special Operations OPSEC Education Fund told The Daily Caller.

Scott Taylor, a former Navy SEAL, cites the campaign ad touting the raid that killed Osama bin Laden and questioning whether Mitt Romney would have made the same decision.

“I think it’s a clear example of how this presidential campaign has politicized this bin Laden raid, overpoliticized it, and have exploited the military in a way that they can hit their political opponents and get re-elected,” Taylor said.

“We believe this unprecedented amount of leaks has hindered future operations and could potentially put lives at risk if it hasn’t already, so we’ve basically had enough, and we’re standing up and exercising our First Amendment rights to say something about it,” he said.

Look for the full interview Monday.

Obama and His Team Blame John Kerry For Debate Loss

Obama Blames John Kerry For Debate Loss

Breitbart

The Obama campaign has been reeling since losing the first Presidential debate of this election cycle in front of 67 million viewers. They've tried--and thus far failed--to craft a narrative to explain away the debacle in Denver.

Previously, we reported to you that Obama Senior Advisor David Plouffe, who ran the President's successful 2008 campaign, (falsely) accused Mitt Romney of lying.

In a rare comedic moment from the typically robotic former Vice President Al Gore, he suggested on Current TV that the Mile High City's altitude was the reason Obama was low on energy and enthusiasm.

And, of course, Obama's chronically dishonest deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter and several others passed the buck to the moderator, Jim Lehrer. None of the above caught on, even with the mainstream pro-Obama media.

Now the Obama Administration is floating their latest excuse: that the campaign, particularly John Kerry (who played the role of Romney in simulated debates), did not channel Mitt's aggression enough.

From CBS's "This Morning":

Norah O'Donnell: "Some Democrats say [Obama's] campaign needs a wake-up call. Bill Plante is here with that part of the story. Bill, you've been talking to your sources; what are they saying?

Correspondent Bill Plante: "Well Norah, they're simply upset and really outraged. They blame the President's team, first of all, for not preparing him to meet the challenge of an aggressive Mitt Romney. They say that nobody in the room challenged him, including the guy that he was debating with, John Kerry, because, as they say, he wants to be Secretary of State so he's not going to get in the President's face. And Presidents are used to deference; they're not used to people challenging them like that. So they think that the debate prep was terrible, but they also fault the President himself for not understanding that Romney was going to be more aggressive."

The 2012 Obama campaign continues to be a stark contrast from their 2008 effort. In 2008, then Senator Obama used youthful ebullience, soaring rhetoric, and a precise campaign infrastructure to capture the hearts and minds of the American people. In 2012, the President seems increasingly lethargic and quick to make excuses for missteps on the campaign trail.

What once was "Hope and Change" is now "Mope and Blame," and this time it's John Kerry under the President's bus.

Terrific!… Soldier Surprises Family at USC Game (Video)

The Faile family from Kershaw, South Carolina, was the Columbia Metropolitan Airport Military Family of the Game. Their first surprise was a message to them from their dad/husband, Sergeant First Class Scott Faile, playing on the video board, followed by an even bigger surprise.

aturday night at Williams-Brice Stadium gave USC a lot of thrills–but not all of them were from what took place during the game.

The Faile family of Kershaw, SC, got a special surprise when Sergeant First Class Scott Faile (who’s stationed in Korea) surprised them on the field.

Here’s how it played out. The family (his wife two children) were brought onto the field as the Columbia Metropolitan Airport Military Family of the Game. They then saw a videotaped message from Sgt. Faile, explaining how much he loved and appreciated their support. At the end of the message, Faile said how he wished he could be there with them to see the Gamecocks beat up on Georgia.

However, right as that message ended, Faile came out of one of the tunnels of the stadium and walked onto the field. His family raced over to hug him, and the crowd

Dramatic Cuts to the U.S. Military: “Can We Believe Him? . . . Fewer Troops. Fewer Planes. Fewer Ships.”

Here’s new Mitt Romney ad that questions Barack Obama’s commitment to the U.S. Military. The ad shows Obama repeatedly saying he will keep the U.S. Military “the strongest the world has ever known.” But the ad shows the reality that Obama has cut the military by $500 billion and has proposed more cuts. “Fewer troops. Fewer planes. Fewer ships.”

Michael Reagan: Romney Had the Best Debate Since Lincoln

Michael Reagan: Romney Had the Best Debate Since Lincoln

Michael Reagan, the son of former President Ronald Reagan, reacted to the first presidential debate. Many in the media agreed that Mitt Romney won the debate against President Obama, and even compared the GOP candidate to President Reagan. But his son disagrees, saying that this was the best debate performance since Abraham Lincoln.

He told Uma Pemmaraju that when it comes to his father, people remember a few sharp lines when he debated President Jimmy Carter or Walter Mondale. But, he says, “The debate that Mitt Romney put on the other night was not a Ronald Reagan debate, it was a Mitt Romney debate. […] From the beginning to the end — there was great moments all the way through.”

Reagan worries that by looking for another President Reagan, a new leader may be overlooked. He said, “We weren’t looking for Abraham Lincoln when we found Ronald Reagan, we were looking for a leader and I think the other night we found one.”

Wild Thing's comment...............

It was a great night and many that were still not thrilled with Romney have become supporters now. I hope it shows the talking heads on TV, the ones that say they are Republican that they need to stop with the " Romney needs to this and that." It only hurts our chances of getting Obama out of office and we only get this one chance.

Man Tells Obama in Cleveland: Business Has Been ‘Terrible Since You Got Here’

An Ohio man at the market told President Obama that business has been “Terrible since you got here,” according to the White House.

Potus stopped to meet people waiting for him, where he did the requisite hand-shaking, high-fiving and the rare baby-holding before going on to chat with proprietors at Turczyk’s Meats and the adjoining Larry Vilstein’s, Christopher Bakery and Edward Badbuster & Son. He then asked the proprietor at Rolston Poultry how business was going. “Terrible since you got here,” the man said. Did You Know Mitt Romney Once Worked as a Garbage Man?

Mitt Romney Worked As a Garbage Man....

Yesterday, AFSCME ( Obama people) put out a rather silly ad featuring Mitt Romney’s former garbage collector in La Jolla, California. The ad begins:

.

My name is Richard Hayes, and I pick up Mitt Romney’s trash.

"My name is Richard Hayes, and I pick up Mitt Romney's trash. We're kind of like the invisible people. He doesn't realize that the service we provide -- if it wasn't for us, it would be a big health issue, us not picking up trash.
Residents do come out and shake our hands. Sometimes they give us hugs and thank us for the job we're doing, hand us water and Gatorades. Tell us we're doing a good job and keep up the good work. Picking up 15, 16 tons by hand, that takes a toll on your body. When I'm 55, 60 years old, I know my body's gonna be break down [sic]. Mitt Romney doesn't care about that."

Get the sledgehammer message? Mitt Romney doesn’t understand! Romney could have no idea about quotidien things such as trash collection because his wealth and detachment prevent him from having to know what life is like for blue-collar workers such as Mr. Hayes.

There’s just one problem with this, and it lies on page 251 of Mitt Romney’s book, "No Apology":

During my campaign for governor, I decided to spend a day every few weeks doing the jobs of other people in Massachusetts. Among other jobs, I cooked sausages at Fenway Park, worked on asphalt paving crew, stacked bales of hay on a farm, volunteered in an emergency room, served food at a nursing home, and worked as a child-care assistant. I’m often asked which was the hardest job – it’s child care, by a mile.

One day I gathered trash as a garbage collector. I stood on that little platform at the back of the truck, holding on as the driver navigated his way through the narrow streets of Boston. As we pulled up to traffic lights, I noticed that the shoppers and businesspeople who were standing only a few feet from me didn’t even see me. It was as if I was invisible. Perhaps it was because a lot of us don’t think garbage men are worthy of notice; I disagree – anyone who works that hard deserves our respect. – I wasn’t a particularly good garbage collector: at one point, after filling the trough at the back of the truck, I pulled the wrong hydraulic lever. Instead of pushing the load into the truck, I dumped it onto the street. Maybe the suits didn’t notice me, but the guys at the construction site sure did: “Nice job, Mitt,” they called. “Why don’t you find an easier job?” And then they good-naturedly came down and helped me pick up my mess.

Wild Thing's comment........

I love that Romney had such a GREAT way of combating this idiot. I am sick of the BS from the kool-aid Obama people. They hate the rich, hate those that have been a success in their lives and we hear this hate from Obama and all of his lefties day in and day out.

The American Dream is a real thing and Obama does all he can to destroy it.

Jets Owner Woody Johnson: " I think you always have to put country first....

Wild Thing's comment...........

I love to hear a person say they put our country first. Too many don't and I would rather not know a person like that.

Former Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway Endorses Mitt Romney and Introduces Mitt at Rally in Denver last night

Endorsement from John Elway...as Former Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway takes the stage to introduce Governor Mitt Romney at a campaign rally in Denver, Colorado October 1, 2012

Awesome crowd of supporters during a Romney campaign rally at the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum on October 1, 2012 in Denver, Colorado.

John Elway: “Governor Romney is a proven leader with the experience and background to turn around our struggling economy,” said John Elway. “In these tough economic times, we need a president who understands how to get America working again – by standing on the side of taxpayers and small-business owners who do the real job creating. I am endorsing Governor Romney and Congressman R
yan for President and Vice President because I know having the courage to make decisions and tackle challenges is what leads to results and real change. America needs a comeback team – Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are that team.”

Mitt Romney responds:
“Leaders come in many forms, and John Elway has always exemplified leadership, first as a quarterback for the Super Bowl champion Broncos, and now as an executive vice president for the team,” said Mitt Romney. “He’s had to overcome challenges during his career, and he knows what it takes to turn things around when things get tough. I’m proud to have him on my team as we campaign to lead the comeback this nation desperately needs.”

Wild Thing's comment............

The rally was packed and overflowing, most of the rallies have been like this for Mitt this last couple of months. I am thrilled that John Elway endorsed Mitt this is great news. Meanwhile Obama has the endorsement of Hugo Chavez.

Shocking when you actually see the media do their job these days. Here is a report from Toledo, Ohio station WTVG, that takes apart a Barack Obama attack ad against Mitt Romney, calling it “misleading.”

Wild Thing's comment.....

Good for this TV station to do their jobs they are supposed to do.

“We’re Seeing the Ugly Fruits of Obama’s Foreign Policy Unravel on Our TV Screens”

Paul Ryan: “We’re Seeing the Ugly Fruits of Obama’s Foreign Policy Unravel on Our TV Screens”

Terrific!
Paul Ryan slammed Barack Obama’s failed foreign policy this week on FOX News Sunday.
The Republican VP nominee told Chris Wallace the “ugly fruits” of a foreign policy of weakness is unraveling before our eyes on our TV screens.

“The Obama foreign policy is unraveling literally before our eyes on our TV screens. And so what Mitt Romney is going to do is lay out a very different vision for foreign policy. One that is a policy of strength where I would articulate or claim the president’s policy is one of weakness. We’re seeing the ugly fruits of the Obama foreign policy unravel around the world on our TV screens.“

Wild Thing's comment.........

Thank you Paul Ryan. What a mess Obama has done. If this had been Bush or any ther Republican President, the media would be pushing for impeachment.

Obama Documentary/Review (in his own words)

WordsMatter2012 was launched this past March to offer non-partisan and objective insight into whether President Obama delivered on the many promises he made when running for office. The project was in fact inspired by a speech he gave in 2008 in which he said that "words matter." Through short weekly videos highlighting his promises, we merely ask, "Did his words matter? And do they matter today?"

Wild Thing's comment........

Yes words do matter, actions matter as well. Combined on both of these Obama has shown 100% that his agenda is to destroy our country.
