West Point Caves To Muslims

Listening to Imam Asadullah speak Thursday during the dedication of a
new Muslim prayer space at West Point.

West Point opens Islamic worship space as Muslim cadets increase
Newsday
WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP)
Muslims at the U.S. Military Academy numbered just two in 2001. This year, there are 32.
Now West Point has opened its first space dedicated to Muslims, a worship hall complete with a pulpit facing Mecca. The space officially opened Thursday.

“I knew the Army had a policy of religious tolerance, but I didn’t know it was to this extent,” said first-year Cadet Ahmed Moomin, 20, from the Maldives.

Until now, Friday prayers were held in an increasingly crowded first-floor office, said Imam Asadullah, the academy’s Muslim cleric. The number of Muslim cadets jumped by 10 from last year.
The new hall is large enough for dozens of followers, he said.
West Point’s Muslim leaders approached administrators last year for help.

“We live in a world where everyone is looking at the United States saying, ‘You’re anti-Islam.’ But here at West Point, that’s not what we do,” West Point Chaplain Col. John Cook said.

Asadullah said the new hall is a strategic move.

“We have cadets here who are going to be the future of tomorrow,” he said. “If we treat them differently from other cadets or other faiths, that will be a cause for future confrontation.”

Wild Thing’s comment……
All the fine soldiers who graduated at West Point are rolling over in their graves. I would not want to be in a foxhole with any of these guys when the lead started flying. Well it cannot be more diverse than training tomorrow’s jihadists.
I have a very bad feeling about this, is this infiltration?? OK so shall we take a minute to imagine one of these Muslim cadets flying fully armed B52s into buildings.
So now, West Point is commanded by politically correct damn fools!!
I am sure that if muslim prayer time arrives during a parade, it will be halted and as non-muslims stand at parade rest, the muslim Cadets will face Mecca with their nose to the ground and their ass in the air as West Point comes to a stand still.
By the time our leaders wake up and realize that Islamites are the problem, they will be in command of our military forces.
Remember the soldier that threw hand grenades into a tent where his superior officers were gathered, during the liberation of Kuwait, an American soldier of the Islamite persuasion!!
And remember THIS story?
Muslim West Point graduate busted for espionage

Captain John Yee, a 1990 graduate of West Point and one of the U.S. Army’s Muslim chaplains, has been arrested and is being held in the Naval Consolidated Brig in Charleston, S.C., on charges of sedition, espionage, aiding the enemy, spying and failing to obey a general order.
Military officials yesterday confirmed that a Muslim chaplain who was counseling al-Qaida prisoners at the Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, naval base has been detained since Sept. 10 after being found in possession of classified documents.
Capt. Yee served as “Muslim adviser to the commander of the joint task force at Guantanamo” since reporting there in November, said Capt. Thomas Crosson of the Southern Command in Miami, which oversees the mission at Guantanamo.
He grew up in New Jersey as a Lutheran, but learned enough about Islam while attending the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., that he decided to convert. He later became one of the 17 Muslim chaplains in the U.S. armed forces.
He became interested in Islam while a student and later spent four years studying Arabic and Islam in Damascus, Syria. He serves with the 29th Signal Battalion at Fort Lewis, Wash.
Capt. Yee, 35, a 1990 graduate of West Point, converted to Islam in 1991 and left the Army after completing airborne school at Fort Knox, Ky.
The suspect then went to Damascus to teach English and study Islam. After becoming a Muslim clergyman, he rejoined the Army as a chaplain.
Questions?????
* Why was Yee allowed to leave the Army after airborne training, rather than after completing his five years of obligatory service after receiving $250,000 worth of training at West Point?
* And after spending time studying Islam in Damascus – the site of 12 Muslim terrorist headquarters – why on earth did the U.S. Army Chaplains Corps accept him back into the Army?

Our troops deserve a hell of a lot better than to have to watch their backs from a enemy embedded into their ranks by the law of politically correct.
They are going to take us from within without firing a friggin shot. We need to get real and mean business…….THEY DO!!!!!!!!

Pelosi Says No Impeachment of Bush If She is Speaker ~ LOL

Check out the above photo of Pelosi in her “Monica outfit” circa 1963.

I wonder what JFK was
thinking?  heh heh

Wild Thing’s comment…….
You know this is a Lie. All the Dems want is to Impeach Bush and every official they can. Dems have no plan for the country only hate and believe me if they gain control of the House Impeachment of Bush is the first order of Business.
So, why is Pelosi all in a sudden worried about re-assuring voters about HER legislative agendas? Could it be that possible, just maybe, the demo’s polls are NOT showing them winning …Not winning because Pelosi is (correctly) being seen as an extremist international liberal socialist?
Lord the thought of Pelosi and company in charge ought to be enough to scare any of us.

Muqtada al-Sadr a Busy Terrorist

After the fall of Saddam, Muqtada al-Sadr, a charismatic Iraqi cleric who comes from a powerful clerical dynasty, emerged as one of the country’s most talked-about Shi’a leaders.
Al-Sadr is one of the most vocal critics of the U.S. troops being in Iraq.
On 18 July 2003 al-Sadr used a Friday sermon in Al-Najaf to denounce as “puppets” the members of Iraq’s new U.S.-appointed Governing Council. He also announced his own plans to form a militia.
Al-Sadr announced his new government during his sermon at Friday prayers in Al-Kufah on 10 October 2003. Muqtada al-Sadr announced his intention to form an Islamic state in Iraq by establishing a shadow government there, complete with ministries.
Former Iranian President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani praised al-Sadr’s recent actions as “heroic” during his Friday prayer sermon in Tehran:

“Contrary to these terrorist groups in Iraq, there are powerful bodies which contribute to the security of that nation…among them is the Mahdi Army, made up of enthusiastic, heroic young people”

By early 2004 Sadr’s followers had elevated him to the rank of hujjat al-Islam (a “Sign of Islam,” or a “Proof of Islam,” the third rank from the top in the Shi’i clerical hierarchy). He wraps himself in a white funeral shroud, showing he is ready for death.
April 7th, 2004……… Iran, Hezbollah support al-Sadr
Muqtada al-Sadr, the fiery Iraqi Shi’ite cleric who ordered his fanatical militia to attack coalition troops, is being supported by Iran and its terror surrogate Hezbollah, according to military sources with access to recent intelligence reports.
On 05 August 2004 Moqtada al-Sadr called on his followers in Iraq to rise up and fight US troops. The message comes as clashes broke out in at least three cities between his supporters and US and Iraqi security forces. Moqtada al-Sadr’s representatives said the truce between his followers and the US military was over. By 06 August the US military estimated it has killed 300 militants in the city of Najaf in two days of fighting. Heavy fighting has also been raging in the streets of Sadr City in Baghdad, where at least 19 people have been killed over the same period. Sadr’s spokesmen sent mixed messages, with one saying al-Sadr wanted to reinstate the truce, and another saying he had declared America the enemy and urged his followers to fight on.
In late June 2005, however, Muqtada al-Sadr called for a nationwide cease-fire and announced that he would join the political process in the following days. The announcement followed discussions between al-Sadr and the Iraqi government as well as coalition officials.
The peace deal lasted until August 5, when Sadr supporters attacked a Najaf police station, setting off intense clashes between Mehdi Army fighters and U.S. forces. Sadr’s supporters used the city’s revered sites, primarily the Imam Ali shrine and its adjacent ancient cemetery, to launch their attacks. Some 3,000 U.S. troops and hundreds of Iraqi security forces were deployed to Najaf to try to crush the uprising.
Sadr spokesman, told Al Jazeera August 30 that Sadr was calling on his forces to stop fighting and wait for an upcoming “political project.” Sadr supporters have said they will field candidates for the January elections and campaign on a platform calling for U.S. forces to withdraw. But many experts are deeply skeptical about Sadr’s intentions, noting that he has promised to stop fighting and join the political process more than once in the past, only to resort to violence.

“He’s said it before, many times,” Katzman says. “He’ll likely keep talking, rearm his militia, and build up support in other cities while staying fairly quiet in Najaf.”

How big is the Mehdi Army?
It’s unclear. Sadr supporters claim it numbers 10,000 men, although some reports place the number far lower, between 1,500 and 3,000. Some experts say there are also hundreds of thousands of additional Iraqis who are “passive” Sadr supporters.
January 23, 2006……Muqtada Pledges Defense of Iran from US attack.
Muqtada al-Sadr, visiting Iran, has pledged the support of his militia, the Mahdi Army, to Iran in case that country were attacked by the United States.
How widespread is Sadr’s support among Shiites?
Experts say he commands the loyalty of some 3 million to 5 million very poor Shiites across the country,
April 6th, 2006……..Muqtada al-Sadr is back with a vengeance. Al-Sadr proved a quick study, devising a new approach to his goal of becoming the leader of Iraq’s Shi’ite community. He developed a social-services network that could provide the average Iraqi with the protection, medicine, supplies, assistance and even money and jobs that they so desperately needed.
He has parlayed this popularity into real political power. His followers won 30 of 275 seats in the 2005 parliamentary elections. It has largely been al-Sadr’s recalcitrance that has produced the months of stalemate in forming a government. He doesn’t yet have the power to choose the country’s leaders, but he does have the clout to block those he doesn’t like, and if Iraq’s low-level civil war continues to build, his power seems only likely to rise with it, riding the wave of Shi’ite frustration that he has nurtured from the very beginning.
October 9th, 2006
American and Iraqi troops fight fierce battle with militants in Diwaniya, stronghold of militia members loyal to radical Shiite cleric Moktada al-Sadr; skirmish is third serious clash between American or Iraqi soldiers against members of Mahdi Army in Diwaniya in less than two months; American officials have increased pressure on Prime Min Nuri Kamal al-Maliki to rein in armed militias like Mahdi Army
October, 12th, 2006
BAGHDAD, Iraq — Gunmen, some of them in police uniforms, stormed the downtown Baghdad headquarters of a new satellite television station Thursday, killing the board chairman and 10 others in the second attack on an Iraqi station in the capital. The attack was carried out by Shiite militiamen.
I wrote about this attack on Sunday, Oct. 21.
Oct. 20 — Hundreds of militiamen linked to the Shiite cleric Moktada al-Sadr battled local police and members of a rival Shiite militia in the southeastern city of Amara today, destroying police stations and seizing control of entire neighborhoods, in apparent retaliation for the arrest of one of their fighters.
BUT look at this………….
Al-Sadr’s considerable leverage was apparent earlier this week, when al-Maliki ordered the release of one of Mr. Sadr’s senior aides. The aide had been arrested a day earlier by American troops on suspicion of participating in kidnappings and killings. sheesh!!!! Our troops had to have been ticked off beyond belief at this happening after the got the jerk and arrested him. SORRY, but WTF???????

Wild Thing’s comment…..
These are only a few of the attacks that this Muqtada al-Sadr and his Mahdi Army have carried out. He is an extremely dangerous man and his truce meant nothing. We knew that, our troops knew that and I think our government and the Iraqi governement knew that too. I pray we come down hard on Muqtada al-Sadr and his army of killers. They do not need to exist one more breath.
Iran may lend some support to any element working to hasten the departure of the Americans from Iraq. Iran, giving them money and weapons and even men to help in the fight. We have read in the past of how Muqtada al-Sadr visited neighbouring Iran since Saddam Hussein was ousted, meeting senior officials in Tehran.
Muqtada al-Sadr visited Iran to attend events commemorating the fourteenth anniversary of Ayatollah Khomeini’s death on June 4 and spent a week meeting with top Iranian officials, including Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and the head of the judiciary, Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi He was also reported to have met secretly with Qasim Suleimani, the commander of the Qods Brigade (a special external department within IRGC intelligence
And this freaking al-Maliki is a weak kneeded fanny kissse to whatever al-Sadr wants. If not then why the heck did he let the prisoner go and all the other things he has done.

Muqtada al-Sadr’s Mahdi Army Supports the Hezbollah

BAGHDAD (AP) — Hundreds of thousands of Shiites chanting “Death to Israel” and “Death to America” marched through the streets of Baghdad’s biggest Shiite district. Members of the Shiite Mehdi army militia carry Lebanese Hezbollah flags in the rally.
This was done to show support from Muqtada Al Sadr’s Mahdi Army for the Hezbollah just this year with the fighting when Israel fought back.

Phrase ‘Common Good’ Unifies Dems for Election

Ned Lamont uses it in his Connecticut Senate race. President Clinton is scheduled to speak on the idea in Washington this week. Bob Casey Jr., Pennsylvania candidate for Senate, put it in the title of his talk at The Catholic University of America _ then repeated the phrase 29 times.
The term is “common good,” and it’s catching on as a way to describe liberal values and reach religious voters who rejected Democrats in the 2004 election. Led by the Center for American Progress, a Washington think-tank, party activists hope the phrase will do for them what “compassionate conservative” did for the Republicans.
Rest of article HERE
The Democrats have now rolled out their catch phrase for the 2006 mid-term elections. You’ll be hearing it time after time after time from Democrat spokesmen and candidates from now until election day. It’s a phrase that does nothing less than lend support to the identification of Democrats as nothing less than big-government socialists.
The Democrat’s catch phrase is one that will surely bring smiles to the faces of Marx and Lenin in whatever corner of hell they now occupy. The word — or two words, if you will — for the Democrats is now “common good.”
Well, at least the Democrats are being loyal to their socialist roots. “Common good” was a catch-phrase for the communist movement for decades, now it is being officially embraced by the Democrats. No real surprise here. Democrat icon Ted Kennedy announced the war on individualism — using those very words — many years ago.
The idea of the “common good” is completely contrary to the concept of individualism. You either support and promote the idea of individuality, or you ignore the rights of the individual for the good of the whole .. for the common good.
So .. here we have the Democrats telling you just exactly who they are, and who they think you are — not an individual, just one element that makes up the masses.
These people and their socialist “common good” theme are dangerous to freedom, liberty and the very concept of the individual. If you’re looking for a reason to vote for the free-spending, big-government Republicans, the Democrats and their “common good” theme would be it.

Thank you to John 5 VN 69/70 for sending this to me.

Wild Thing’s comment…….
The phrase “for the common good” is classic Marxist rhetoric. That was the main theme of Marxism.
Direct from the Democratic party of America, opps I mean Communist Manifesto
“These measures will, of course, be different in different countries.
Nevertheless, in most advanced countries, the following will be pretty generally applicable.
1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.
2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.
4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
5. Centralization of credit in the banks of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly.
6. Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the state.
7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state; the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
8. Equal obligation of all to work. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of all the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the populace over the country.
10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc.”
Hi, My name is [insert name here] I’m proud to be a Communist, oh wait, opps, I can’t say that I mean a Democrat. The ultimate goal is the common good, freedom of the individual isn’t important.

Muqtada Al Sadr’s Mahdi Army

A masked gunman stands on a street corner as a building burns nearby in southern Iraqi town of Amarah, 320 kilometers (200 miles) southeast of Baghdad, Friday Oct. 20, 2006. (AP Photo/Haidar Hany)

The clashes between US Armed Force and Mahdi Army indicates a new phase and shift of security plans and battle against terrorists, and the next battle to destroy Mahdi Army with Al Sadr dead, or captured alive.
BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) — The Shiite militia run by anti-American cleric Muqtada al-Sadr seized total control of the southern Iraqi city of Amarah on Friday in one of the boldest acts of defiance yet by one of the country’s powerful, unofficial armies, witnesses and police said.
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki dispatched an emergency security delegation that included the Minister of State for Security Affairs and top officials from the Interior and Defense ministries, Yassin Majid, the prime minister’s media adviser, told The Associated Press.
The Mahdi Army fighters stormed three main police stations Friday morning, planting explosives that flattened the buildings, residents said.

Wild Thing’s comment………
Muqtada Al Sadr is going to have his very own category in my sidebar.
Why we ever let Al Sadr live I’ll never understand. As far as I’m concerned, this guy is fair game. He has been quoted as saying….”I will fight until the last drop of my blood has been spilled.”

Islamic TV Channel Expands Its U.S. Audience

An Islamic TV Channel Expands Its U.S. Audience
The MEMRI Report
NY Sun
Bridges TV, an American-Islamic TV channel “seeking to improve the image of Muslims in the United States” and to “offer a unique perspective on the Middle East and the war on terrorism,” has extended its availability into six states, creating a potential audience of nearly 2 million.
Some guests, however, are extremists. One religious figure who appeared October 3 said Muslims have a duty to change America and to increase their numbers to 50% of the population from 2%. He recommended that Shariah, or Islamic law, be implemented in American courts.
During a roundtable discussion on the Arab-Israeli conflict on October 5, one participant offered a solution:

“For the Jews to leave and return to Europe.”

One of the stars of Bridges TV is a cofounder and vice chairman of the international health care company CBay Inc., Donald “Skip” Conover….

” In the article, Mr. Conover expressed “his disgust” at what he called inflammatory statements about Arabs and Muslims in the press.

He also discussed the power of the “Jewish lobby” and called on all Muslims to vote for the Democratic Party. “Every American politician is in lockstep with Israel. …

“If the Muslims of America believe that they don’t want Bush to have a free hand for the next two years, then the Muslims of America need to get organized and make sure they get out to vote for Democrats for both the House and the Senate,” Mr. Conover added. “Every Muslim in the Middle East who has a relative in the U.S. should get the message across to their relatives. They need to make sure that all their friends vote against Bush.”

Bridges TV claims that its “major purpose” is “to build bridges between American Muslims and other Americans.” After viewing the channel, I find this highly unlikely.

Wild Thing’s comment…….
Good grief!!! This is the website for this Islamic TV Channel. I had to check it out.
This has always been my opinon of these kinds of channels. The Spanish channels do not speak English. Why? If they really wanted to assimliate into America then these channels would be in English for one thing.

In regards to this Islamic channel it stinks and ticks me off big time! It has NO intention of building anything except for hate. The comments about Jews, telling people to vote for Democrats. What the hell is that!!!!!! It is obviously a channel full of hate, lies and spew, catering to the death cult followers of Islam.
From the article, also…..”Throughout the day, Bridges TV airs segments of Koranic verses, quite a few of which denounce “unbelievers.” One notable verse that aired October 9 praised martyrdom.”

Looking Back ~ Have They Forgotten?

Dan Rather on Letterman 9/17/01

Wild Thing’s comment……
Five days after 9-11 Dan Rather was on David Letterman, he was speaking of what happened, how he was for our Military going after the terrorists. A few years later Dan Rather intensely went after Bush as much as he could. How soon a person forgets that rage of being attacked, how soon we saw many Americans want a war to end with the speed of DSL on our computers.
Dan Rather speaks that the war would be long (4 to 8 years he said) and dangerous. Did he forget what he said? Did he forget how he felt when our Nation was attacked on our land?
I know that none of us that come to this blog have forgotten. We have also learned about our enemy. We know them well, and one thing for sure…. our enemy will never know us well. They will never know how stubborn we can be, how our freedom means more to us anything. How important that Freedom is to be able to leave it to the children of the future of our country. And how not a day goes by that we are not aware of why we are free and what the cost has been that allows us to live in the land of the free and that it truly is the home of the brave.
I saw this video over at Billy’s blog……Billy O’Blog. He has an excellent post about it. I am going to put his words here and you might also want to check his blog out. He has some other posts there that are also excellent.
Billy’s words……..

” It is well known that Dan Rather has never been a fan of George Bush. In fact, the story about Bush’s alleged ‘marginal’ service was the downfall of Rather when he adamantly defended the story as fact. It is for this reason that I feel this video is important. For when a man as politically biased as Rather, outlines the path FROM 911, the way he did just 5 days after the attack, it serves as a reminder of just how much we’ve forgotten, how much we as a country have lost our will.
With elections upcoming that will determine how we prosecute the war started on 911, it’s important to reflect how clear our thinking was then and how clouded it has become through partisanship. It is as though we’ve forgotten the path TO 911 and are continuing down that road again. God help us all if we forget.
The video is long, but I feel important, because in it you will hear Rather PROMOTE the policies this administration is fighting to persue. You will hear Rather advocate going after Iran and Syria and Iraq. He hadn’t had the time to learn just how ingrained Islam has been in this war, but many of the comments are chilling.
Take a few minutes to watch this, remember, your feelings then, and ask yourself if we , as a Nation, really want to throw in the towel as many in the media today are trying to brainwash us to do.”

Kennedy To Communist Party, USSR ~ You’ve Got Mail

CNS News
There’s a new book on Ronald Reagan making the rounds, The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism. Its author, Paul Kengor, unearthed a sensational document from the Soviet archives.
That document is a memo regarding an offer made by Sen. Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts via former Senator John Tunney, both Democrats, to the General Secretary of the Communist Party, USSR, Yuri Andropov, in 1983.
The offer was to help the Soviet leadership, military and civilian, conduct a PR campaign in the United States as President Ronald Reagan sought re-election.
The goal of the PR campaign would be to cast President Reagan as a warmonger, the Soviets as willing to peacefully co-exist, and thereby turn the electorate away from Reagan. It was a plan to enlist Soviet help, and use the American press, in unseating an American president.

Wild Thing’s comment…….
So this little ole KGB letter written at the height of the Cold War shows that Sen. Edward Kennedy offered to assist Soviet leaders in formulating a public relations strategy to counter President Reagan’s foreign policy and to complicate his re-election efforts. Amazing, not surprising but ever so typical of the left and of Kennedy.
This is NOT the American way of doing things, but it sure as heck is the Democrat way!
