James Stewart Republican versus Henry Fonda Democrat

James Stewart Republican versus Henry Fonda Democrat in the movie ;
The Cheyenne Social Club

Wild Thing’s comment……..
LOL I thought you might like to see this.
Plus it is so close to the truth. James Stewart really was a Republican and Henry Fonda a democrat

robert says:

In the movie “the Boston Strangler” Henry Fonda plays the DA in charge of capturing the killer. During a television interview with the Henry Fonda character he goes out of his way to attribute the Boston strangler deaths to “all the killing” going on in the world. Since the movie was made in 1968 Henry Fonda was clearly referring to the Vietnam War. The line itself made no sense whatever in the 1962 context of the movie. A conservative actor would have kept to the context of the movie but a liberal has no problem using their positions to spew their political opinions.

Mark says:

He never made a bad movie. Cheyenne Social Club was just another stunning performance by Stewart. I wouldn’t however, paid to see ‘Harvey’ though but the rest for sure.

darthcrUSAderworldtour07 says:

Henry was a Democrat but Peter was a leftard and Hanoi Jane was a TRAITOR… I think Jimmy was a B-17 pilot during WW II…
“Ah…. ah….that….thats right….. ah… ah…Wild….. Wild … Wild Thing!”

Wild Thing says:

Robert, thanks for sharing that. Your right sometimes the actor will get the OK to add in their own agenda in a film, exactly like you said.

Wild Thing says:

Mark, thanks and I agree.

Wild Thing says:

Darth, ditto that about Henry, Peter and Hanoi Jane. Your right too about Jimmy being a pilot too. Thanks for sharing that.
