Lindsey Graham: Assad is Telling Trump 'F- you' By Reopening Airfield
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., argued Syrian President Bashar Assad is effectively insulting President Trump by continuing to launch missions against rebel groups from the air base Trump struck with missiles on Thursday.
"Here's what I think Assad's telling Trump by flying from this base: 'F- you,'" Graham said Sunday during an appearance on NBC's "Meet the Press."
Graham, a frequent Trump critic, said he was heartened to see the president take action against the Assad regime this week in response to its chemical attack on civilians days earlier.
