From what I've read, he was quoting some reporter.
Notice how Trump goes after anyone who gets close to him in the polls and he perceives a threat. Rubio, Carson, Feronia, and now Curz all have gotten personal attacks from him as they get close. He needs to grow up and quit this schoolyard popularity contest of his.
