Abbot is correct.
The Federal government is suppose to be subservient to the states, not the other way around like it is now.
Look at it like the NFL. The Commissioner runs the NFL with the consent of the team owners. He can fine players and owners for violations. But...but...if owners feel the Commissioner is taking on too much power, then can gather together (in a convention) and either take power away from the Commissioner or replace him. That is how our Constitution is suppose to work between the Federal Government and the States.
