George W. Bush's ‘Frighteningly Accurate’ Prediction in 2007 on What Would Happen If We Pulled Out of Iraq
.....Pres. Bush’s Prophetic Iraq Warning, 7/12/07
BUSH: I know some in Washington would like us to start leaving Iraq now. To begin withdrawing before our commanders tell us we're ready would be dangerous for Iraq, for the region and for the United States....
-It would mean surrendering the future of Iraq to al Qaeda.
-It mean that we'd be risking mass killings on a horrific scale.
-It would mean we allowed a terrorist to establish a safe haven in Iraq to replace the one they lost in Afghanistan.
- It would mean increasing the probability that American troops would have to return at some later date to confront an enemy that is even more dangerous
Wild Thing's comment.............
Bush was right about the entire thing.

'W' took out Saddam Hussein who would take out the Iraniacs.... This was a big mistake, but Monday Morning Quarterbacking is unfair and after the fact.

I am a frequent critic of George Bush. However, when he was correct, as here, he was correct.
I agree with you darth that things would be much better with Saddam still on his throne. However, at the time the reason for taking him out was correct. Hell, I wish Ghaddafi was still in Libya. I support Hassad over his opponents. That part of the world needs dictators instead of imams in charge.
