Airstrikes by U.S. and Allies Hit ISIS Targets in Syria
US began bombing targets inside Syria on Monday—-
The US along with Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia reportedly flew missions into Syria.
ABC on the strikes:
Airstrikes against up to 20 ISIS targets are under way in Syria, according to Pentagon officials. The operation marks the first time the U.S. has launched strikes in Syria, a new front in the battle against the terror group.
“I can confirm that U.S. military and partner nation forces are undertaking military action against ISIL [ISIS] terrorists in Syria using a mix of fighter, bomber and Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles,” Pentagon Press Secretary Rear Admiral John Kirby said. “Given that these operations are ongoing, we are not in a position to provide additional details at this time. The decision to conduct theses strikes was made earlier today by the U.S. Central Command commander under authorization granted him by the commander in chief. We will provide more details later as operationally appropriate.”

At $500,000 per I$I$ targets and over $7 million dollars per day? Without boots on the ground minus A-10 Warthogs and B-52 buffs? Sad....

I believe in giving credit where credit is due and Obama deserves credit for getting Arab nations to participate. But, I am concerned as to why no European allies have taken part.

I am strictly in a wait and see mode. I don't trust obama. I think he suddenly became afraid of the generals.
