Obama has never taken responsibility for any failure during his Administration. He's taken full credit for any successes and even temporary successes. He took credit for pulling all the troops out of Iraq and then when Iraq fell apart, he said it wasn't his decision.
Even Jimmy Carter took responsibility for the failed hostage rescue attempt in Iran. The military screwed up big time but Jimmy took all the heat as the CinC. Can you imagine Obama in a failed operation like this? He would have blamed everyone including Bush.
