Border Patrol agent, Obama has limited the amount of ammo that agents at the border can use for self-defense
As thousands of illegals, many of whom belong to MS-13 gangs and drug cartels, continue to pour into the country, the safety of American citizens is in danger.
Some who live in border states have already been experiencing upticks in crime, such as Texas ranchers who have had their homes broken into by criminals illegals.
Not only is the safety of the American people in danger from criminals, but also from illegals carrying a wide variety of diseases like scabies and tuberculosis, among many others.
Border Patrol agents, those brave men and women who have been tasked with securing the nation’s borders have had much of their time eaten up by processing and caring for these illegals, leaving the border open for others to cross over. On top of this, these agents have come under fire from drug cartels and in some cases, the Mexican military as well.
One would think that given the plethora of dangers Border Patrol faces, Obama would increase their ammunition and other supplies to help keep them safe. BizPacReview reported on an interview with retired Border Patrol agent Zack Taylor who said the president actually went the other direction and limited their ammo, making it difficult to practice and use their weapons for protection.
“The ammunition restriction is expected to last until the beginning of the 2015 fiscal year. That’s not until October of next year.”
“The Department of Homeland Security used to buy ammo for us by the boxcar. Now, ammo is being accounted for round-by-round.”
