Overall, my service from the VA has been very good. It was not good 40 years ago, but it has improved immensely. But, the VA is an enormous bureacracy and it seems to get behind after every war. There is also the problem of veterans with phony claims adding to the backlog of paper work. My experience at the Dallas VA is that in many areas it is understaffed. Even so, they have done me right and I can't complain.
I hope the staffers that destroyed veterans' claims are found out and fired.
