Cruz made the great point that the Republicans have voted to keep the Government going, just defund Obamacare. That it is Harry Reid and the President that appear to be opting to shut down the government, and Cruz encourages that they not do so, “We do not want to shut down the government”.

If we want to mitigate all the harms that come from Obamacare, we have to stop it now, he argued.

Isn't it sad that there are very few times you can think back to & say "wow that political official actually fought for me?"

God bless Senator’s Cruz and Lee . They truly work well together. I am really impressed with both of these fine men.
It is now almost 5:00 a.m. EST here and Senator Cruz now in the 15th hour, Senator Lee at his side. Two great men.

Ted Cruz is the shot in the arm true conservatives have yearned for since Ronald Reagan left office. In this filibuster he is not just reading a book. He is making points that go to the heart and soul of what traditional America is all about and what made us the world's most powerful and successful nation.
