You hate to see Gov Perry step down but he's doing the right thing in passing the mantel to someone else. This is what our Founding Fathers envisioned.

The #1 contender right now to replace Perry is our present state Attorney General greg Abbott. If Perry is an A+ conservative, Abbott is an A++ conservative. Texas should remain well served at the state level by conservatives.
