Yes. There were a few good things that came out of this bill and lots of bad things. Very confusing. Overly complicated, lawyerly and political. The somewhat good are now a known minimum on the estate tax. It should have been abolished but at least now we know the limits. I hope it, like the alternative minimum tax, is indexed for the massive inflation just around the corner. Indexing the AMT(it should also be abolished) and keeping the Bush tax cuts are good for us as individuals, probably bad for the economy as it reduces treasury income.
Again, the main problem not addressed is federal govt. spending.
