Sen. Harry Reid: Senate to Reconvene New Year’s Eve to Continue Fiscal Cliff Negotiations
FOX News
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said the Senate will reconvene Monday at 11 a.m. ET to continue negotiations to avert the fiscal cliff.
Reid said he was gratified Republicans have taken their demand for Social Security cuts off the table, but added that they should’ve never been on the table to begin with.
He said, “There’s still significant distance between the two sides, but negotiations continue. There’s still time left to reach an agreement and we intend to continue negotiations.”

If Obama did his job and the rest of them had done it too, they would be enjoying the holiday instead of having to meet once again about this. Obama sets the worst example of leadership and it goes from there especially among the democrats.

I agree that Social Security should have never been on the table as that money belongs to those who contributed to it, not to the government.
Harry Reid is one of the main reasons we're in this mess. His piss-poor leadership has led to no budget for the past three years. Him and Pelosi are the epitome of failure and Democrats still have them in leadership positions. But then, look at the failure that just got reelected president.
