I agree so much, just walk away. Make and force the dems to own this whole thing.
I would even suggest for the republicans to hold a press conference stating the facts and the truth and then say the dems OWN it, .......and mean it and stick to their guns about it.

I really doubt that Boehner will walk away. I expect he will "reach across the aisle" and "compromise". I also think we are not awaiting another recession, we are already in one. I have no faith in anything acceptable coming out of Wash DC in the next four years. Unless we get a Divine Intervention.
