Rick Perry Was Outstanding In Interview With Typical Media Chris Wallace ~ Full Video of interview
H/T/ The Right Scoop blog
Governor Rick Perry from Texas told Chris Wallace today on FOX News Sunday that he would support a constitutional amendment to allow prayer back in school.
“It’s not the Supreme Court’s business telling Americans when and how they should pray.”
He also vowed not to nominate activist judges to the Supreme Court like Barack Obama did.
Wild Thing's comment.........
Perrry did excellent in the interview with Chris Wallace. He was outstanding in his unique, down-to-earth way. He made Chris Wallace look like a desperate, petty, obama boot licker.
Chris Wallace completely left out any reference to Rick Perry's slap at the media and slam on Obama over his incompetent foreign policy and the loss of our drone that brought the loudest sustained applause during last night's debate. So Chris was being the typical media, sorry Chris no kudos for you. Chris Wallace is a mean spirited little lefty. He loves to try to play gotcha with every conservative candidate.

Actually, as a Bible Believing Christian, I'm not particularly for having prayer in public schools. My reason is: Who's going to lead the prayers? Will they have canned prayers like Catholics; spontaneous prayers like Baptists; prayers in tongues like Pentecostals? Will the prayers depend upon the religious beliefs of the teacher? Who will they pray to: God, Jesus, Mary, Allah, Mother Earth, Buddha, Obama? I would be more for a moment of silence with their heads bowed. This way, they could pray or sing songs to themselves.
What needs to take place in public schools is religions, particularly Christianity, place in our American history. Students need to be taught how Preachers showed the Colonists that revolt against England would be a righteous war and one that would be approved of God...in the New Testament, sedation and rebellion against government is wrong. They need to be taught how when people with different religious beliefs came to America that the Americans accepted them and allowed them to practice their beliefs without interference. They also need to be taught that one religion, Islam, wants to eliminate all other religious beliefs and take away the rights their forefathers fought and died for in order to institute Shariah Law which will put them under bondage.
