Back in the early 90’s, I attended a class consisting of Senior NCO’s who supervise aircraft flightline maintenance activities. One of my fellow NCO’s was assigned to the 89 Airlift Wing which maintains Air Force One. He served there under both HW Bush and Bill Clinton. I asked him if the different Administrations treated the maintainers. He said Bush/Quayle were gentlemen who treated them with respect and dignity. They would go out of their way to thank them for the work they do and the superb condition they kept the aircraft in. He said Clinton/Gore had no use for them and treated them like they didn’t exist. What this guy in the video is saying is exactly what this NCO told us.

A reaffirmation of this video above by U.S. Marshal Wild Bill comes easily from not only the military and security, but from any of the real life day to day service trades in the Washington area.

Something relatively few Americans know is that event planners, caterers, waiters, maitre’ d’s, luggage handlers, cab drivers, chauffeurs, doormen, concierge, porters, clerks, ushers, tour guides, custodians, and especially food service workers, sommeliers, and bartenders will all tell you they’d rather work a Republican event than a Democrat one.

They most always expect not only better tips, but more importantly, respectful treatment for the service rendered.

It is very well known in these trade circles that events are often prepared and even priced with that in mind, and for repeat business and better referrals. Open bar events at Republican events always have left over liquor while Democrat events are hard to keep adequately stocked.

Democrats are notoriously lousy tips (if any at all), and are more often disrespectful to the service provider. These service trades, down the line, value respect for service as much as their pay.

Ask any Washington area hotel chambermaid if she'd like to clean up after a hotel room occupied by a Republican or by a Democrat, and she'll reply not only which is easier to tidy up and clean up after, but which one is more likely to regularly leave a tip and a good one.

The old American adage, often repeated by comedian Bob Hope, still holds true:

“There's nothing worse than a Democrat with money.”

Another insightful quote and with good humor by comedian Jay Leno:

“Republicans like people in particular, and nobody in general; while Democrats like people in general, and no one in particular.”

Too many people referencing the obamas and Hillary Clinton in the light of being arrogant. With these many references the allegations have to have a significant element of truth. The way these people flaunt their narcissism in public also adds to the validity of the accusations.

Good government requires respecting the people governed, which overlordy democrats can not. It's like your reading my mind, I was just thinking the same thing.
