Obama and WH Say With New Super Committee EVERYTHING Will Be On The Table...EVERYTHING!
Starting August 2nd, 2011, the power of the United States Congress will be superceded by a new, unconsitutional "joint committee", AKA Super Congress, when it comes to decisions regarding taxes and spending.

White House Ready To Reconsider Tax Increases
White House Spokesman Jay Carney told reporters Monday. "Everything is on the table for that committee, everything, including both entitlement reform and tax reform. Let's be clear: The president thinks, as you know, that the biggest possible overall accomplishment in terms of deficit reduction is a desirable goal, as long as it's balanced. He looks forward to, by the process set up by that committee, to having that debate about what our priorities are."
Senate Democrats are exploring ways of giving the proposed "super Congress" even greater super powers, according to multiple news reports and congressional aides with knowledge of the plan.
Under the new proposal, if the new legislative body, made up of six Democrats and six Republicans from both chambers, doesn't come up with a bill that cuts at least $1.5 trillion by Thanksgiving, entitlement programs will automatically be slashed.
Under the reported framework, legislation the new congressional committee writes would be fast-tracked through Congress and could not be filibustered or amended.

Don't you just love how they use the word EVERYTHING is on the table. There is such a dictator attitude with Obama and his people. They truly believe we the people including his own voters are nothing, we are only to be used to get tax money from and votes when they run for office. Other then that we are to stay silent and take their crap they hand out and accept their control over us. sheesh
I am really concerned about this "Super Committee ". I don't trust it and I agree that is is unConstitutional.

Every healthy body needs a periodic purging to remain healthy. Unfortunately the body of congress didn't get enough purging last November; that includes both D's and R's.

These people are certainly full of themselves. The law is written over 200 years ago, yet they continue to grant themselves more and more power, what a bunch of self absorbed, greedy sons of bitches they are.
This deal will do nothing but give obama a free hand with more money to waste on more stimulus packages, that don't work but pays off the Unions for their vote and raise Taxes, which is exactly what obama wants. Boehner thinks he's such a financial genius, and has screw his constituents once again. When all the talks about how tough Boehner was with obama, then the next picture you see is obama and Boehner on the golf course, you got to wonder, whose interest does Boehner really has at heart. It certainly wasn't the countries.

This Committee will be made up of Obama cronies from both parties and will eventually find a way to do his bidding in the form of new taxes.
As for the "budget and spending cuts", don't hold your breath, if they do occur, they will be minimal or most likely non-existant.
I'm very disappointed in John Boehner, he had Obama and the Dems, on the run, and he blinked. He chose the old, "go along, to get along", method of dealing with the crisis, rather than let it play out.
The fact that he settled for a "business as usual", solution undermines all of what the true Conservative congressmen, were trying to promote. He chose to side with the RINO's, instead.
Then he had that audacity to say that they got 98% of what they wanted.
The only problem with that, is the fact that the other 2% was and still is the most critical. No increase in the ceiling and massive cuts in spending.
The American People have once again been had.

Congress and obama are killing The Constitution in their quest for more power. They use doublespeak and made up crisis to legislate around The Constitution. We need more conservatives and Tea Partiers elected in 2012. We can still save The Constitution, but it will take a long time to rejuvenate the economy and even longer to restore trust in our politicians.
