GOP watches Ben Affleck's "The Town" to rally behind debt plan
Even before the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said House Speaker John Boehner’s debt plan may cut less in spending than it initially promised, selling the plan to conservative Republicans was proving to be a challenge.
In an attempt to rally their Tea Party-backed conservative members, Republican leaders opened a Tuesday morning meeting with a clip of the movie “The Town,” the Washington Post first reported.
The 2010 flick is about Boston bank robbers, and the scene that House Republican Whip Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., played to the House GOP caucus depicts two characters about to go beat people up.
In that scene, Ben Affleck’s character says, “I need your help. I can’t tell you what it is. You can never ask me about it later.” In its reporting, the Post left out Affleck’s next line: “We’re gonna hurt some people.”
The character played by Jeremy Lee Renner replies, “Whose car we takin’?”
After viewing the clip, Rep. Allen West, R-Fla., replied, “I’m ready to drive the car.”
West’s office confirms that the Tea Party-backed congressman did give that spirited reply and still backs Boehner’s deficit reduction plan.

I do have to say I really admire and love the way Allen West gets how much we need strong people to save our country. I love his take no prisoner attitude he has on the things he believes in. He really stood up for Israel and I was so proud of him. and he has stood up for a lot of other things that needed to be said too.
One more thing I guess we are not alllowed to take breath without permission from the democrats. I have had it with them all of them including their president.
Bring on the movies like this and let the democrats wet their pants in fear, I could care less. They continue to bash, slander, lie about Republicans and their idiot brain dead voters believe their lies.
I have to tell you, when I bought my first computer it was during the Bill Clinton regime. I wanted to be able to go to varioius forms online and post information about Clinton I could find and stand up for America. So I have been in my own very small way fighting back against Democrats for a long time and I have hit the wall when it comes to having enough of their crap. They are defending a man ( obama) that is out to destroy our country and all of us.

Sen Schumer is a sleezebag. He is exactly the type to yell "Fire" in a crowded theater.
Allen West is exactly thr type of persons we need to stand up to the Schumers and Wassermans and verbally spar with those liberals who are not used to having their rhertoric challenged.
The movie clip is weak in that it does not point out that all of us in America are going to hurt by trying to correct 60+ years of too much govt. and too much deficit spending. That hurt will also be felt by those of us trying to do the correcting. The pain will be temporary and followed by economic growth and stability.

unless there is another revolution, we the people can do very little without the help of our party in Congress. We need them on our side, we put them there and if they don't do the job then we can take them out.
