It's time Seniors stop acting like scared children every time the Democrats say Republicans are going after Social Security. It's time for Seniors to stand up and demand what happened to their money. Social Security isn't a government entitlement, that money belongs to the people it was taken from. That money was taken from each working taxpayer and put into an account, their account with their own personal Social Security Account Number. Unfortunately, the thieves in government went into each of our accounts and took our money and used it on other things. Now, our money is gone and the government who was suppose to watch over our money is using Treasury money to pay us our money and the Treasury money is running out.

This would be a 'death wish fact' at the voting booth in just 482 days Bear Nation from the seniors that VOTE! NO FEAR for Dr. Zhicago & his Baracksheviks are going ... DOWN!!!

This is such a blatant lie. One the Democrats use all the time.

The sad thing is that it works.

I would estimate that over 90% of the voting public in this Country gets their information from a friend who they respect, or from the Nightly Network News. They never bother to check the vaslidity of what they are hearing, because they "respect" the source, as being reliable.

This allows BS remarks like this to become, undeniable truths.

I just hope that the Republicans in the House and Senate stick to their guns, on this issue until a proper resolution is reached or what is more likely to happen, August 2 will come with no change.

The Social Security checks will go out, the money is already there. If they don't, it will be as you say, Obama has intervened. I would be amazed if that happened.

This is despicable. This is diabolical.

This is not the expected comportment of a U.S. President.

This is not Presidential leadership uniting the American people during very hard times.

It is the willful, deliberate incitement of class warfare by an American President dividing the American people.

This is not the expected behavior of a chief executive responsible for the administration of government.

This President has had it so easy with limitless profligate federal spending, handing out outrageous pay raises to the fawning White House staffers that surround him, all without any scrutiny or accountability by a servile press which continues to give him a pass no matter what he does or says;

and now that there might be some actual fiscal constraints towards administrating federal government, does this President rise to the occasion with some plan of priority spending and some decisive action ?

No, he slides and slithers.

He submits to the easy street he has always known, to the easy path of demagoguery and fear mongering with the very American people he and his administration are supposed to serve and protect.

The left is incapable of governing.

These are not public servants respectful of their country's citizens. They are elitist central planners; vile, loathsome collectivists of the worst degree.

"Time to eat your peas", -like some Eastern European dictator right out of the 1950's behind the iron curtain speaking down to his own people telling them to make sacrifices.

This is where the clause in the fourteenth amendment that the debt of the US shall not be questioned comes into play. The old people to whom social security is owed and the people who hold US treasury bonds get paid or it is treason! Not guaranteeing that debt is the one thing that Obama can do to be removed from office without impeachment.
The debt clause in the 14th amendment was inserted when the Democrat southern states started to go on about what an injustice it was for southerners to pay taxes to pay back the people who had financed the armies that had raped and killed them and their relatives and sacked and pillaged their farms, cities and destroyed their railroads and industry.
It was aimed at Andrew Johnson but shooting Obama with it is certainly possible. I do not think even Obama is dumb enough to stand in front of the loaded canon which is debt default.
