Charles Krauthammer on Newt Gingrich: “This is a Capital Offense Against (Reagan’s) Eleventh Commandment. He Won’t Recover”
As the day has progressed, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich’s comments on Sunday’s “Meet the Press” attacking House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan’s budget plan have come to haunt him. On Monday’s “Special Report,” syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer became the latest conservative figure to criticize Gingrich, calling his bid for the presidency “over.”
“This is a big deal,” Krauthammer said. “He’s done. He didn’t have a big chance from the beginning but now it’s over. Apart from being contradictory and incoherent as we saw in those two bytes you showed where he contradicted himself in the course of one day on the individual mandate – calling the Republican plan, which all but four Republican members of the House have now endorsed and will be running on, calling it radical and right-wing social engineering is deadly.”
Krauthammer’s criticism of Gingrich echoed that of many other conservatives who said that Gingrich’s words will be used against fellow Republicans in future congressional campaigns.
“I mean, I think every one of these Republican candidates running for the House is going to have a Democratic opponent who’s going to run an ad you can write today. It’s going to start even conservative Newt Gingrich, the former leader of the Republicans in the House, says ‘It’s radical, it’s social engineering.’”
Krauthammer added that Gingrich’s remarks violated Reagan’s “11th commandment.”
“Reagan had the 11th commandment,” Krauthammer said. “Thou shalt not attack fellow Republicans. This is a capital offense against the 11th commandment. He won’t recover.”
House GOP fires back at Newt Gingrich...from Politico
Various comments made by other Republicans about Newt.
Rush on Gingrich‘s ’Inexplicable‘ and ’Mind-Boggling’ Obamacare Comments
Limbaugh characterized Gingrich‘s support for a variation of Obama’s individual insurance mandate as “inexplicable” and “mind-boggling.” The top conservative radio host refused to defend Gingrich’s comments, and even was visibly annoyed while describing Gingrich’s position.
“I am not going to justify this. I am not going to explain it. The attack on Paul Ryan, the support for an individual mandate in health care? Folks, don’t ask me to explain this. There is no explanation! What do you mean, if I don’t explain it, who will? There is no explanation for it. First off, it cuts Paul Ryan off at the knees. It supports the Obama administration in the lawsuits that 26 states have filed over the mandate. I guess, what? Back in 1993, Newt supported an individual mandate, everybody should buy insurance. I am as befuddled as anyone else is what I’m telling you.”

Paul Ryan Responds to Newt Gingrich Attack on His Medicare Plan: “With Allies Like That, Who Needs the Left”
Paul Ryan yesterday on the Laura Ingraham Radio Show reacting to comments by Newt Gingrich on Sunday attacking his plan to save Medicare. Ryan said, “With allies like that, who needs the Left!” Ryan disagreed with Gingrich’s criticism, and said the “radical” thing to do is to keep doing the same thing and let the “whole system implode on itself.”
Brit Humes just ripped Newt for his attacks on Paul Ryan plan
He looked and sounded angry and disgusted.
Hume Slams Gingrich's Hypocrisy: "Provocative Thinker" But "Promiscuous Talker"
"Now he's [Gingrich] not only disparaged a man who is a hero to many Republicans, he has handed Democrats a potent weapon against Ryan and Republicans at the moment they stand accused by the Democrats of trying to destroy Medicare. They were requiring all be responsible for healthcare. he called the idea a variation of the mandate to buy insurance which Mitt Romney passed in Massachusetts. Today, Gingrich is trying to undo it all, claiming he is against a mandate and great admirer of Paul Ryan and so on. Eepublicans must wonder what he will say next and why he said what he did. This is all vintage Gingrich who is what he has always been: A provocative thinker and promiscuous talker," FOX News' Brit Hume said on "Special Report" this evening.

Hopefully Newt will be done and go into hiding.
Remember how Newt backed a liberal RINO republican Scozzafava over a conservative in NY's 23 district. After loosing in her primary, Scozzafava went on to support the Democrat in the race.
Also, don't forget how Newt threw Congressman JC Watts under the buss for calling Jesse Jackson a "race hustling poverty pimp". Newt stuck his nose so far up Jackson's butt that he needed a 2x4 tied to his to keep from falling in.

Isn't amazing that Newt Gingrich can get his foot in his mouthe all the way to the knee. He still delivered four years of Federal ballanced budgets.
So what does that say about Newt's big mouth? His record means that he Would still be better than any Democrat in the twentieth Century,
