More Bad Hair Days For Michelle Obama
In an attempt to fit in with the Royal Family's penchant for wearing outlandish hats, First Lady Michelle Obama shows off her own designer hat, called "The Trafacant". (Mr. Speaker, BEAM ME UP! )
Strong gusts had Mrs Obama clutching on to her dress as it threatened to blow up into the air during the event staged in Buckingham Palace's gardens.
It appeared the politician's wife could have benefited from a trick employed by the Queen's dressmakers, who sew tiny weights into the hems of her gowns.
Mrs Obama clung on to her outfit, which appeared to be made from a light fabric, and fought a battle with the wind but managed to win in the end.
The blast also caused havoc with the first lady's hair, which was left standing on end at one point.
