An Arrogant Newt Gingrich On Greta van Susteren Show Re: Tiffany’s He Says "not playing Trivial Pursuit" and Then Compares Midwest To N. Korea
Greta van Susteren last night where he was trying to do damage control for his comments about Paul Ryan’s Medicare Plan and his support for at least a “variation” on the “individual mandate” in ObamaCare.
But Greta asks him here about a report that he had a bill of between $250,000 – $500,000 at Tiffany’s in New York. Gingrich refused to answer Greta’s question as to whether he had such a large bill and if he had paid it.
Gingrich said he would only talk about issues that matter to the American People, and would not talk about something like that. “I’m not playing Trivial Pursuit.”
At the very end of the segment, Greta said she would love to come out to Iowa and follow him around on the campaign trail if he would allow it.
Gingrich responded with, “It’s not quite North Korea, but come and see what it’s like in the Midwest.”
Oh my. It might be important to know that Greta just returned from North Korea. That’s the context of why Gingrich made the remark. Otherwise, if people don’t know that, Gingrich just compared the Midwest to North Korea !!
Also Newt Gingrich told Greta Van Susteren that he called Rep. Paul Ryan and apologized.
“I made a mistake. And, I called my friend Paul Ryan today and said that.”
.
Wild Thing's comment.......
We already have arrogance in the White House, we don't need another four years of it. Lecturing Greta on how to do an interview, sheesh!
Newt has become mso full of himself he can't see straight.
