Has there ever been a more incompetent or in the alternative intentionally destructive U.S. Administration? There was Carter with his merry brood of hillbillies who out of sheer stupidity brought new meaning to the word “incompetent” to Government. But Carter was otherwise harmless, Obama’s is intentional and intended to diminish the U.S in the world community. This is amply illustrated by the international mess in Libya as one more indicator of the Obama Administration’s attack upon no, not Afghanistan, Iraq, or Libya, rather in the grand scheme of Obama’s “transparent” vision, it is an attack upon the United States.
Despite the combined support from the leftist media most Americans are savvy enough to see through Obama’s abject lack of managerial and leadership skills. That noted, one has to give the “devil” credit where it is due: he does talk a lot, albeit simultaneously out of both sides of his mouth. The most recent example is his repeated calls for Gaddafi to step aside, that Gaddafi had lost legitimacy with his own people, that he needed to go, and etc.
After having been shamed and dragged “kicking and screaming” into agreeing to impose a “no fly” zone over large parts of Libya, which is really more like preparatory fire incident to a ground invasion, Obama is now eager to abandon U.S. leadership of the effort. Adding fuel to the fire is a Coalition that from all appearances is in disarray: with France declaring that they are not at war; Germany pulling its forces from NATO; Libyan rebels on the run; Marines are reported to be on the way to rescue Libyan civilians, while Obama unequivocally states that there will be no ground troops, no matter what the outcome.
From reports, Obama is trying to do something with the Allies, although it isn’t clear just what that would be; Allies are at each other’s throats and the list goes on! Uncertain Trumpet!? For goodness sake, let a Marine Corporal, well make it a PFC take charge, he would do a better job!
Obama dithered for weeks while ostensible, freedom-seeking, al Qaeda supported Libyans protested then took up arms against Gaddafi’s terrorist regime. Isn’t it ironic that in this instance it may well be one terrorist group against another and that couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of people. Let them work out their own destiny without spending limited U.S. resources, they are going to hate the U.S. anyway, no matter what the outcome.
Given the circumstances, Libyans had the right to expect support against Gaddafi given Obama’s backstabbing of Egypt’s Mubarak, his encouragement of the rebels in Tunisia and his admonitions to the Saudi’s to ease the economic strain on their own people. But, having all but kissed their shoes during his “world apology tour,” Obama is now in the dubious position of seeking Gaddafi’s overthrow, by “diplomatic” and other non-violent means; yes, of course; the world trembles when Hillary speaks.
One cannot imagine what U.S. aircrews are doing or why they are involved if their underlying purpose is not to facilitate toppling of, or bringing about Gaddafi’s demise. Unfortunately, the present well executed attacks by U.S. forces and Allies, have the earmarks of an international relations debacle on its way to happen.
Obama’s passive aggressive, “if they need me attitude” dating back to the financial crisis of 2008, his encouraging Congress come up with the economically disastrous “Stimulus Package,” his repeated statements that have been aimed at diminishing U.S. preeminence in the world, and this present, “I can handle this on the fly” attitude about Libya, are all vintage Obama. Then combine that with leaving Congress out of the loop, which in the rarest of moments prompts one to agree with Congressperson Kucinich, one can see Obama’s innate dictatorial penchant beginning to emerge.
Yet, it was Obama who according to the Boston Globe in 2007 told Americans: “The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.”(as though he give one whit about the Constitution.)
Likewise, in an interview with Hardball, “If he gives authorization to war without congressional approval, I will make it my business to impeach him,” was then Senator Biden speaking of G.W. Bush. Of course anyone who knows anything knows that Biden was (and is) as full of bovine scatology then as he is now since it is the House of Representatives that impeaches.
But alas, Administration “spinmeisters” pour the swill, (or is it Kool-Aid?) for the media that attacks are to avoid genocide as happened in Rwanda during the Clinton Administration. But that does not answer the question, “where was he for the weeks leading up to this last minute decision?” (Oh, I get it, everyone missed it, he wanted to surprise Gaddafi.) But Obama is out of character as far as his Muslim supporters are concerned by bombing a nation where the “religion of peace” rules with a dictator’s fist. Louis Farrakhan, grand leader of the Nation of Islam made his anger clear when he asked Obama, “who the hell do you think you are?”
A parting shot: Obama’s circus is embarrassing if not dangerous to the U.S. and makes G.W. Bush come across as a consummate, patriotic professional but, let there be no doubt, this too is Bush’s fault.

Amazing how these politicians make statements then think they won't be remembered. Especially with the internet where everything is out there someplace that was said. Biden's comment about Bush and impeachment, obama's as well about war etc. Good one Col. Pappas for bringing these up in this article.

Selective law enforcement. He minions decide to break the rules of the constitution to send troops in, and he goes along with it. congress votes down DADT, dispite the fact that Sodomy is against the UCMJ, another double standard and social experiment on the Military and again the country gets the shaft. A new federal law on Bullying, but if you are White, overwieght and straight, you don't count and are considered a non citizen. This is the change we have been waiting for??????? I think its time for some serious investigation into the articles of impeachment and lock the whole damn bunch of the up.

I think the 2012 elections will be the deciding factor as to whether America continues to exist as a constitutional republic. If obama is reelected or a wishy washy Rino is elected then we become an extension of European socialism and we will collapse from within. No Newt, Mitt, Huck, Jeb or hussein!!

Tom, I agree so much, I am very concerned about 2012. So far there is no one that will be strong and save our country.
