Hillary States That NATO Agreed To Enforce The No-Fly Zone Over Libya But Not The Ground Attacks OBAMA Wants

NATO takes command of part of Libya operation
NATO agreed has to take over part of the military operations against Libya — enforcement of the no-fly zone — after days of hard bargaining among its members. But attacks on the ground will continue to be run by the coalition led by the U.S., which has been anxious to give up the lead role.
NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, who announced the NATO agreement late Thursday in Brussels, said the alliance operation would proceed in parallel with the bombing campaign carried out by coalition aircraft.
“At this moment there will still be a coalition operation and a NATO operation,” Fogh Rasmussen said. “We are considering whether NATO should take on the broader responsibility in accordance with the U.N. Security Council resolution, but that decision has not been reached yet.”

OPERATION ODYSSEY DAWN....the UN name for the international military operation in Libya .. WHAT'S IN A NAME?
The name of the operation may well be an oracular warning about the consequences of US/NATO ground invasion of Libya. As Tony Blankley points out the word "Odyssey" is taken from the great Homeric poem about the ten year wanderings of the lost Greek hero Odysseus after the end of the ten year Trojan War. In other words, the word "Odyssey" may well be prophetic of a very long and painful war like the protracted conflict between Greeks and Trojans that lasted a decade before cunning Odysseus figured out how the Greeks could win.
