Who Is Most Clueless---The Administration Or The Media?

Fact 1: Most Egyptians hate America. America has kept the Mubarak dictatorship in power for almost 30 years as he amassed wealth for himself, family and his close friends. With the people discontent and the economy in shambles, the military probably had the most to do with insisting that Mubarak cede his power to them and onward to an as yet undefined new leadership.
Fact 2: Most Egyptians are Muslim and believe in Sharia Law. Christians are a minority in Egypt and fear for their lives not knowing who will ultimately lead their nation.
Fact 3: The CIA totally missed the clues preceding the Egyptian uprising against Mubarak. Director of Intelligence for the Obama administration, James Clapper, was delusional or lying when he characterized the Muslim Brotherhood as a secular group which does not eschew violence as a means of establishing Islam as the world’s single religion and culture. The Muslim Brotherhood’s doctrine follows the Koran with the goal of establishing Sharia Law internationally and endorses terrorism if necessary to accomplish that goal. We have no idea yet what role the Muslim Brotherhood will play in Egypt’s new future.
Fact 4: The Obama Administration, hated by the Egyptian people, pulled a narcissistic John Kerry imitation by first supporting Mubarak and then repudiating him in favor of the protesters who were winning according to feed from CNN (sadly Obama’s only intelligence resource during the crisis). And the American lamestreet media also followed the same chorus without a clue as to what was really happening (outlined in Fact #1).
The Egyptian people have suffered not only under the tyranny of the Mubarak’s regime but a deteriorating economy even as the Mubarak family fortune is estimated in the billions of dollars with assets in Switzerland and Britain. The military has been financed with the help of 1.3 billion U.S. dollars each year. Question now is what happens under military rule. And when/if elections occur who will emerge as the new leader of Egypt? Will that leader respect America and Israel’s existence and, if not, will America cut off aid to Egypt’s military? What domino effect would an anti-American/anti-Israeli government in Egypt have across the Middle East?
The CIA revealed its lack of insight into the Egyptian situation and spokesman Clapper is delusional or alternatively was commanded by someone else to publicly paint a false picture of the Muslim Brotherhood, as if to endorse them should they be a significant role in Egypt’s future government. His speech confirms this Administration’s empathy for (if not fear of) Islam while disrespecting America’s identity and the government’s needs to call out radical Islam as the root of worldwide terror and violence.
Obama used the national media to pontificate regarding the Egyptian government shakeup, when he would have done better to keep his mouth shut since his Administration has no influence on events in Egypt, not even the respect of the Egyptian people. His attempt to portray the uprising by the Egyptian people as bringing about needed (but unspecified) ‘change’ analogous to that which he promised to bring to America if elected President is pure narcissism. It is paradoxical that Obama calls for a transition to ‘democracy’ in Egypt, while his Administration has tried to move America away from democracy by usurping states and individual rights and trying to place them under control of the federal government.
Finally, the U.S. media including FOX reporters like Shep Smith were nearsighted and read to America only what is handed to them from clueless reporters on the ground in Egypt. It is frightening that our government and our media pretended to know and understand the inner dynamics of the Egyptian crisis when in hindsight they did not. Their shallow idiocy continues until We the People change that.

It doesn't matter if the Arab world hated or loved Mubarak. What matters to them is the United States threw a friend and ally under the bus, just like we did the Shaw of Iran. All that's shown them is that we can't be trusted and you can bet every Middle Easter leader has taken note of this.

The lame stream media are nothing more than useful idiots and will be dispatched when necessary. Of course they don't see that, they are too blind to the power they think awaits them. As far as Clapper goes, for someone to be in the position of Intelligence for this long it seems almost impossible that he wouldn't know what the MB really is. Dr. Bates points this out and maybe he was parroting what he was told to say. If thats the case, then we can't trust our own intelligence. Pinyatta head of the CIA said he was confused, obviously,he in a position he doesn't understand and doesn't belong there. Obama is the narcissist in charge and anything that makes US look bad he's for, his anti-colonialist mentality is just getting us in deeper with our enemies. With obama we are in a lose lose situation.

That is good that the Egyptians hate obama. He belittled America and praised islam from Cairo. Looks like that still did not win him many Egyptian admirers.
Who's the most clueless? That's a tossup just like who is the most corrupted. Both obama and the media are anti American and are on the fast track to tear America down.
