American Donors Send Deployed Troops Pizza for Super Bowl
Super Bowl: 139,080 pounds of wings on way to troops in Afghanistan, Iraq
Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support officials will help to add to this year's Super Bowl experience for deployed troops by supplying U.S. forces in Iraq and Afghanistan with all the wings, pizza and chili they can handle.
As deployed troops in remote locations watch the Steelers and Packers square off, they can feast on fries, jalapeno poppers with cheddar and cream cheese, chicken wings, onion rings and NA beer (no alcohol).
"We cannot do enough to say thank you to our deployed men and women in uniform sacrificing and serving to protect our way of life here in America," said Richard Ellis, the acting commander of DLA Troop Support. "It is our pleasure and honor to serve them up some familiar fare so they can have a full Super Bowl experience before they continue on their mission."

I'll take the old school NFL images of Bart Starr, Bob Griese and Roger Staubach and Jack Lambert over today's National Felony League jerks!
I'm with the owners (CBA lockout looming) and only with the players in reference to just playing a 16 game NFL schedule!

Yeah todays NFL and yesterdays Like , OJ and Paul Hornung come to mind immediately. Sounds like selective choice and some of the others that were real pillars of the NFL community. And of course the Liberal Sports media has nothing to do with this?
But this is about the Donation of Pizza to the deployed Troops in combat zones, damn decent thing to do.

Mark, thanks yes I agree, it is wonderful to see companies realize how much our troops do and appreciate them. It is wonderful news to see this happening. I bet the troops loved every bite.
