Obama Catches Hillary’s Foot In Mouth Disease
by Dr. Alan Bates, MD.
The Obama ‘presidency’ has been a disgrace. His campaign rhetoric and evil intentions were a disgrace but appealed to the uneducated and charismatic who unfortunately dominated our political landscape in 2008. Obama apologized for America’s past actions to defend freedom around the world and through his subsequent foreign policy actions, assisted by Hillary Clinton, has severely tarnished the respect America once enjoyed.
Barry Soetoro (alias Barack Hussein Obama) is an incompetent narcissist who desperately wants personal respect from the rest of the world---at the expense of America’s foundation. He is a powerless joke to the rest of the world. Obama is so spineless and/or anti-American that he cannot even call out the threat of Muslim terrorism which explicitly desires destruction of Israel and ‘infidels’ who do not subscribe to their brutal medieval culture (Sharia Law).
The contagion of popular rebellion has spread like fire through the Mid East and Iran fans those flames opportunistically. Obama was mute when the people of Iran rebelled against their current brutal dictatorship. Interestingly however, Obama has been quick to support demonstrators in the streets of Egypt after having complacently supported the Mubarack regime which has been in power for about 30 years. Yes---Mubarack was more desirable from a strategic view than allowing radical Muslims to control that nation (the lesser of two evils). This is why our elected officials support certain dictators until the citizens they rule revolt.
When anarchy exists there is a vacuum to be filled, and those with greatest opportunity in Egypt are the Muslim Brotherhood, which though a minority amongst the populace, enjoys plenty of support from their brethren in nearby nations.
So what should be the reaction of Obama to the revolution in Egypt where the people apparently want Mubarack gone yesterday?
We have spent 1.2 billion dollars per year to support Egypt’s military under Mubarack. Should the U.S. take a public position or even get directly involved in the conflict of another nation especially if we believe it to be of strategic importance? Some say Egypt is one of the most modern nations of the Mid East not controlled by Islamists, a veritable rock in the middle of other nations ruled by Muslim dictators and Sharia Law, and that we should make sure the nation does not fall to radical Muslim extremists. How can we accomplish that goal? What are Russia, China, European powers and Saudi Arabia doing? Are they not reacting from complacency or fear?
America is itself sitting on a powder keg of discontent as it becomes belatedly apparent that our nation is bankrupt and yet this Administration proposes additional massive spending which becomes the nail in our coffin, because this state of affairs paves the way for the Federal government to force We the People to give our assets to fund government debt---but even that will not be enough to balance the Fedzilla budget deficit which is now accompanied by similar debacles at state and local government levels.
Americans remain the only people who enjoy a variety of liberties non-existent elsewhere. But that freedom is directly threatened by our government’s poor financial management and actions by radical Muslims who want to break up the national culture of tolerance Americans have embraced since the founding of our nation.
Historically, nations whose culture becomes so diverse as to lose its identity have gone the way of dinosaurs—and we too are on the brink of extinction should our government not stand up and call out threats by name and take focused action to rid our nation of those threats—be it downsizing the Federal government and working towards paying down debt, or aggressive actions against radical Jihad (like speedy execution of terrorists who mass murder Americans). Anti-American cultures of destruction must be extinguished within our borders and our borders protected. Simultaneously, America must secure itself by developing energy self-sufficiency and a national defense second to none.
Obama’s focus is not on building security and strength for America or dealing with radical Jihad. He appears to be a puppet whose strings are pulled by those international socialists who financially bought him into office.
In conclusion, Egypt is another piece on the chessboard of the Mid East and its problems are opportunistically greeted by the Muslim world. There is not much America can really do but watch and offer to assist brokering a truly democratic transitional government not dominated by the Muslim Brotherhood or other radical interests who will merely turn a would-be democracy into an intolerant and brutal dictatorship worse than that of Mubarack. One would think the rest of the world would want to assist but instead there is silence from other major world players.

obama's agenda is to weaken America. So far, he has been pretty successful. The Democrats in Congress have been his faithful lap dogs. Now that they have lost control of the House maybe those of us who love America can begin to put America back on her track of greatness and strength. Hurry up and get here 2012!

Its hard to comment on an article that covers all the bases. Except it is well written, and of course he's preaching to the Choir.
