US Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of AZ. Shot In Head and Others Shot

Arizona Democrat Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was shot today in Tucson, Arizona during an event outside a Safeway Grocery Store. A man reportedly approached the event and opened fire on Giffords and others, wounding Giffords and others.
Fox News is saying Giffords has been shot in the head.
10 Patients- 1 has died. Several – Five are in critical condition.

The Congresswoman is in critical condition. She was shot in the head one time.

Congressional officials say an aide to Rep. Gabrielle Giffords has died after an attack in Tucson, Arizona.
A hospital official there says the congresswoman herself is alive but in critical condition after being shot in the head.
The AP reports that the gunman is identified as Jared Laughner; he is in custody.

Gateway Pundit has posted this video, which was “favorited” by alleged shooter of Democrat Rep. Gabrielle Giffords – Jared Lee Loughner. The video is favorited in Loughner’s YouTube account. It shows a bizarre figure wearing a trashbag and a coat, with a mask over his face while he sets a United States Flag on fire.
On his apparent YouTube page, Loughner also lists the “Communist Manifesto” and “Mein Kampf” as among his favorite books.

Update: Rep. Giffords husband, astronaut Mark Kelly, rushing to be by wife’s side.
It has been reported that Mark Kelly was traveling by private jet and expected to arrive in Tucson at 3:00pm. A family friend, who owns the jet has been quoted as saying “We have a positive outlook. We think she’s going to pull through.”
Gabrielle Giffords married Mark Kelly back in November of 2007. 46 year old, Kelly has flown a total of three shuttle missions for NASA. his first flight in space was as the pilot for STS-108 Endeavour December 5–17, 2001. He flew again as the pilot of STS-121 Discovery July 4-17, 2006. Then went on to serve as commander of STS-124 Discovery May 31 to June 14, 2008. Kelly’s next mission is scheduled for launch on April 1, 2011.

Authorities Suspect Gunman in Arizona Rampage Posted Pre-Shooting Video Online
Jared Loughner, the 22-year-old man who sources identify to Fox News as the gunman in custody in the deadly shooting rampage Saturday in Arizona, is suspected of posting a series of YouTube videos that show a focus on literacy and currency -- as well as his distrust in the government.
"Hello, my name is Jared Lee Loughner," one of the videos says, in words appearing on the screen. "This video is my introduction to you! My favorite activity is conscience dreaming; the greatest inspiration for my political business information. Some of you don't dream - sadly."
The video, posted Dec. 15, later turns more political.
"The majority of citizens in the united states of America have never read the united states of America's constitution. You don't have to accept the federalist laws," the video's titles say. "In conclusion, reading the second United States constitution, I can't trust the current government because of the ratifications: the government is implying mind control and brainwash on the people by controlling grammar. No! I won't pay debt with a currency that's not backed by gold and silver! No! I won't trust in god!"
Records obtained from the Pima County, Ariz. criminal database show Loughner was arrested in 2007 for possessing drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor charge. The records suggest that Loughner paid a $20 fee and completed a court-ordered program for drug offenders.
Three months later he was cited for running a stop sign, according to court documents.
Another record shows a 2008 arrest for what’s described as a “local charge” in Marana, Ariz., 20 miles northwest of Tucson. The non-criminal charge was dismissed.
Loughner's page on YouTube lists Tucson as his hometown. He also said he attended Northwest Aztec College and Pima County Community College. And in one of the videos, he says he is a military recruit.
The Army provided this statement:
"The Army has confirmed that the suspect was never in the Army. He attempted to enlist in the Army but was rejected for service. In accordance with the Privacy Act, we will not discuss why he was rejected."
In other videos, Loughner calls the people of District 8, his Ariz. district, illiterate.
In a bizarre equation that Loughner appears to mean as example of deductive reasoning, he concludes that "the police are unconstitutional."
In yet another rant verging on the paranoid, he says:
“I know who’s listening: Government Officials, and the People. Nearly all the people, who don’t know this accurate information of a new currency, aren’t aware of mind control and brainwash methods. If I have my civil rights, then this message wouldn’t have happen.”
He lists reading under interests, as well as "conscience dreams," and among his favorite books are "Mein Kampf," the "Communist Manifesto," "Animal Farm" and "Brave New World."
In a comment posted on MySpace three months ago in connection with a video about Pima Community College, Loughner wrote: "Hello, I know you’re illiterate! This is the greatest protest for exposure into a wrongful act. The school is breaking the constitution. If you watch the video then you’ll understand. The teachers are taking advantage of you in the first and Fifth Amendment. The United States Constitution, which is the law, can be broken at this school. Thank you and goodnight! Jared"
His last writing on his MySpace page just hours before the shooting was "Goodbye friends."

This is heartbreaking.
Greg Segalini, an uncle of Christina, the 9-year-old victim, told the Arizona Republic that a neighbor was going to the event and invited her along because she had just been elected to the student council and was interested in government.
Christina, who was born on Sept. 11, 2001, was involved in many activities, from ballet to baseball. She had just received her first Holy Communion at St. Odilia's Catholic Church on in Tucson, Catholic Diocese of Tucson officials told The Arizona Daily Star.
And from a friend of mine on Facebook that lives in AZ and near where the shootings occured.
"Christina had been taken to this event by a neighbor specifically to meet Gabby; she had just been elected to her 3rd grade student council. "

This is a tragidy and unfortunately, those on the left are using it for their political gain. They're already blaming the Tea Party. The congresswoman's father is also blaming the Tea Party. When asked if she had any enemies, he replied "the whole Tea Party".
Thing is, it seems the shooter was a left wing radical as reported on a liberal blog by a friend who knew him.

They can say all they want and put the blame on whomever they like but think about this, could this guy be o'vomit's illigitimate white love child? Born of a mule in a barn in Show Low, AZ? They both seem to think alike and the resembalance is striking.

They never let a good crisis go to waste. This is exactly what is going on. they hate the Tea Party and will use this or any other made up version to support their cause. The cause is the destruction of America and they don't care what it cost, in lives of Americans or the character of the country.

Another thing where are this kids parents? Had this been a Right Wing Terrorist, you know the prsss would be all over them like 'white on rice'. But since he one of theirs he's going to get a free pass while the Lame stream media makes excussed for him. This is what is going on with this blame game.
