Obama Campaigns At Memorial Service Passes Out T-Shits " “Together we Thrive”
.
Wild Thing's comment.......
We missed it when it first aired so I watched a repeat of the so called memorial so I could post about it.
Just when you think they can’t be any more crass and disgusting....they go and outdo themselves again.
This “memorial” has been the most appalling spectacle I have ever witnessed. Screaming, whistling going on. Some overt political messages. Good grief.
Remember the memorial for Paul Welstone? That ended up to be a disgusting campaign rally for obama. I never cared for Paul Welstone, but the point is what they did for his memorial.
No matter what the occasion, obama treats it like a campaign rally. No class, no honor, no dignity. I thought it would have been a more somber, reflective event not a pep rally.
The scripture readings were supportive but the cheering and especially when Obama took the stage as if they were cheering a rock star at a concert just seemed poor decorum.
Nothing is beneath the dispicable left. They say no one should politicize something, then they do it. They say the right should tone down its rhetoric, as they repetitously use vile commentary.
Obama was not empathizing with the victims’ families. The guy has never felt empathy in his life other than for himself.
Did Obama just kick off his re-election campaign at a memorial? “Together we Thrive” is the new “Hope and Change.”

Where was all of this caring and outpouring of "LOVE" during the services at Fort HOOD, It wasn't there. It took this POS two weeks to even make a statement, left handed at that.
But Now we see a White shooter, not hispanic,or muslim, and so we get an outpouring of sympathy from this phony kenyan piece of crap. Yes re-election campaign is right, its all politics to this creep.
They have made Loughner the Victim, this is disgusting.

Obama's got class....all LOW. This is tasteless campaigning at its lowest. Giffords is Jewish. The Judge and little girl were Catholic, so we have a pagan at the memorial service...yup... makes sense to me.

That wasn’t a memorial it was a freak show! Maybe they should have charged admission. Or did they?

It seemed more like a campaign rally.
For Obama to bring Holder with him to Arizona was the ultimate insult to the state.
This is how a decent and honorable president attends a memorial service.

I knew this memorial would end up being about obama. He couldn't have it any other way. Did he ask for campaign contributions? obama's narcicissm bothers me, but what else bothers me is how many people adore the man. I guess a lot of people treat obama like just another reality show. Damn, our culture is going in the toilet.

Hi all, I agree.
Anybody know who paid for the tee shirts?

Bob A,
You, Me, and everyone in this country who pays taxes (which means most obama supporters did not).

BobF,
Excellent comparison (missed by far too many).
Speaking with somber brevity, President Bush speaks for six minutes to a quiet attentive audience with applause only once; at the end.
What a complete contrast from last night's apparent rally before a college sporting event, a big top circus that began by a bizarre medicine man blessing reptiles.
Are we not better than this ? Are our memories so short ? Would you send your son or daughter to a university that hosted all this ?
Thanks, BobF, for reminding us about Virginia Tech, something far too many of us have forgotten from just nearly four years ago where innocent dozens were randomly killed on campus by a lone crazed gunmen.
-When what should be really consigned to oblivion is last night.

My favorite comment was by @stephenkruiser on Twitter: “On the bright side, they did determine that launching the souvenir T-shirts with a cannon into the crowd might be gauche.”
