Reid: Obama Wants To "Steal Power" From Us--"I'm Going To Fight As Hard As I Can Against Him"
I believe in our Constitution, separation of power and one of the issues I have fought for is to make sure the White House doesn’t continually take from us our power, everyone should understand this earmark issue is simply that, a way for the Executive branch of government to steal power we’ve been granted in our Constitution, we have a Constitutional duty to do Congressionally directed spending.”

Oh, no, that’s not what their job *is, but that’s what the Senate has become, thanks to vote-buying -— elections by popular vote.
Actually no, you're supposed to "establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity" None of which you're doing! Also it is ONLY in the Constitution that they can spend money to benefit all of us, not just a select few or pay back for votes for themselves.Judge Napolitano has said that many times.
It does not surprise me that he thinks this way, but our founding fathers are rolling over in their graves. With this type of overt corruption, it won’t be long before this republic falters.
Another thing too, I bet Obama is not happy to hear Harry Reid mouth off about HIM like this. heh heh

Wild Thing, Whenever I read something like this, I like to refer back to "Who is John Galt." This article by or about Col. David Crokett when he spoke with farmer Horatio Bunce--"Not yours to Give," is what ever Rep. shoud read about spending our tax money! Theodore's World is great.
