Failure Barack Obama Leaves Bill Clinton In Charge
I find it very telling by the way he looks at Clinton, forces a big smile, and then it disappears instantaneously when he looks away. See this in the video below. Notice right after the big grin and slap on the back, the grin immediately disappeared as he turned away ...And Bill Clinton says... PLEASE GO ! hahahaha~ Wild Thing
To leave in the middle of a press conference held at the White House, letting a former president take charge? LOL
Never in my life have I seen this happen. A sitting president abandons the podium to an ex-president expecting the ex-pres to “make things all right” with their party. OMG ~ Wild Thing
.
Bill Clinton gave a statement after his meeting with President Obama about his tax compromise with the Republicans.
However, after his statement, Clinton began to call on and take questions from the press with Obama at his side. Obama leaves promptly after a few moments and said he had to see Michelle, as he was keeping her "waiting."
.
Wild Thing's comment........
This was history in the making!!!!!
Clinton sauntered into the room, yukking it up with the press, while Obama looked PO’d, almost as if he knew he was going to be rope-a-doped by the Arkansas grifter.
I would imagine Obama was furious and wishing he never invited Clinton to the White House for whatever it was they really talked about. And Clinton- he probably loved every minute!
One thing is certain- planned or unplanned- Obama did not plan to look like the total incompetent he was and I don’t think Clinton planned to have the un-interuppted attention of the White House press corps for 30 minutes.
Other than that- it was political theater- and very odd.
In 10 minutes Clinton did what Obama hasn’t been able to do since the first night he came out with his “we have an agreement” impromptu press appearance- explained the benefits- from the point of view of a lib. And without a teleprompter.
If I were a Democrat I’d be really struck by the differences- Clinton can sell ice to eskimos- Obama can’t sell ice to a parched man in the desert.
The whole thing is one of the weirdest, most bizarre political days.
We have Clinton, praising Dr. Charles Krauthhammer, M.D. Harvard - who is brilliant, but is also a Conservative intellectual who makes Democrats look like worms when they debate him.
Then at the same time the community organizer that has made countless threats to we the American people from his campaign right up to his election and continues to today ditching turning over his responsibility to explain and answer questions and Bill Clinton appearing to be in charge of our nation and doing a hell of a better job of it then Obama ever could at explaining and with no threats or attacks. It will not be lost on the media that Clinton speaks fluently, at length, and in complete sentences on a broad range of topics, and does not require a Teleprompter to do it. I will never forget the Clinton years they were horrible. In fact my dislike for what Bill and Hillary were doing is the reason I bought my first computer. But I still have to point out the vast difference between Clinton and Obama is a huge OMG big time.
Add in to all of this crazy day yestersay, Gibbs. LOL Gibbs should have taken over the press conference - he didn't. Obama put him in charge, and Gibbs fumbles. He didn't take control of the last question, as Obama asked him to do before he left. Even Clinton mouthed "help please" to Gibbs, and he sat on fat a$$.
Clinton took back control of the party. BO looked like a simple puppet, summoned back to a social party by the women who rule the domestic roost. I am NO fan of Clinton, but one could not have experienced yesterday seeing all this happening and not notice the huge difference in the two men. For all his faults, Bill Clinton has an uncanny ability to know and reach his audience. He practically has a photographic memory. And his ego is such that he will never allow himself to be ignorant of any issue. If he doesn't know something, then he will find out who does and learn the right questions to ask. With Obama, all he cares about is himself. I really believe he is a sociopath. Clinton ate Obama’s lunch slooowly.
I noticed some interesting things. In the beginning, when Obama says he has a party to go to, watch Slick Willy. He seems surprised that he said this, completely unprepared .
Obama says he’s leaving because he’s 30 minutes late for a party and the Beast is waiting.
Slick Willy says “ I don’t want to make HER mad, please go”. Watch Obama's face as Willy says this. He was pissed. He gives a fleeting, frozen fake smile, then back to a pissed off face as he turns and shoots Gibbs a “look” (Gibbs is sitting front row, far left).
Then Gibbs stands up, puts his hand out as if “What am I supposed to do”, seemed like he might be going to call final question. Then Gibbs looks at someone from the press and Gibbs laughs and sits back down.
Clinton then covers his mouth and leans on the podium. I think he was trying not to laugh but you can see the laughter in his eyes or was it a “gotcha look”. A payback look.
Interesting to say the least. There is more there than meets the eye. Here are a couple of videos from You Tube. There are many up now, some are repeats, several from different views.

Bill Clinton Backs Tax Deal: 'I Hope My Fellow Democrats Will Support It'
.
Then while all the above crazy stuff was going on. We have a Communist/Socialist from Vermont on the Senate floor throwing a tantrum. This wasn't "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington." It was "Comrade Sanders Goes to Mental Hospital."
This is a video of the closing moments of Communist Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ 8 1/2 hour filibuster-type speech yesterday in the U.S. Senate. Sanders railed against the extension of the Bush Tax Cut Rates for all Americans. Sanders acknowledged in his closing comments that it is unclear whether he will be able to get enough votes to stop passage of the agreement that will be voted on this coming Monday. Sanders began his filibuster speech at 10:25 AM ET, and finished at 6:59 PM ET.
It was a Coup d' TOTUS!
Now here is my question: ???????
Obama said he had to go that would mean he had something else scheduled.........but look at this from yesterday's schedule at the White House website.
Note how there is nothing else on the calender, nothing about Michelle Obama and a Christmas party or meeting. The only thing on it is what you see in the photo below.

LOL look at this from Drudge:. Matt’s having a blast with this.

You are correct: this was history in the making unfolding in front of our eyes. The oddest thing I have ever seen. Personally I believe that Obama is close to a nervous breakdown. He can't handle it anymore. I have seen this kind of behavior with other people before. Not good, not good at all. Almost scary.
Ed
P.S. love how you call the first lady "the Beast"! It's soooooo true!

Well this tax bill is turning into another Porkulus bill, close to what the previous one was, close to another Trillion dollars, Subsidies for all the pet earmarks of every congressman on the hill. The latest being the Ethanol payments. Instead of drilling for more oil we are still screwing around with ethanol.
The extention of unemployment benefits to 13 months and finally keep the bush tax cuts, which is no tax cut but a status quo. Although other items are going to rise. So wheres the benefit of all this political posturing.
Its business as usual for the elites in Washington. that includes both sides, republicans and democrat alike.
If the country is going to change then, WE the people have to do it. We can not rely on stupid dumbass politicians who sole function is pork and kickbacks for political favors.

I agree with Eddy B very much...he has no tools in the shed to deal with managing the issues before him. Like an insolent child who has their parents wrapped tightly around their finger, the wingnuts in Congress know they have him under their umbrella. He has no idea how to use acceptable strategy to manage. The empty tool shed is collapsing in front of our very eyes. Good thing Slo Joe lives close by... :(....Mark, so true!

The first time I actually enjoyed seeing Bill Clinton. obama is coming apart. He may not last two more years. His policies are failing and he cannot face reality. I expect a big govt. turnover in 2012.

Obama embarrassed himself. The moment Clinton took the podium, he was in charge.
Notice how the press kept referring to Clinton as "Mr. President" when Obama was in the room. Although that title belongs to all former Presidents, I would think it a breach of protocol to use when the sitting president is present.
Although they are both liberals, the big difference between the Obama's and Clinton's is that the Clinton's love this nation and want it to prosper while the Obama's don't Unfortunately, the Clinton's way of going about it is wrong.
Obama is the perfect example of what you get when you elect someone based on race or gender and not on qualifications and experience.

Great job WT. This is the best write-up I've seen on this spectacle. Gibbs may not last much longer.

Eddy Burke, thank you, that is so interesting too that you feel Obama is close to a nervous breakdown. His threats have increased and anyone with even a tiny amount of common sense would know better then to threaten the citizens of the country he is president of just to make a point or force his agenda on them, especially Americans. I think he was unstable to begin with as he has so many chips on his shoulder of resentment etc. too. Just weird to watch it unfold before us too.

Mark, well said, it is amazing how they keep adding pork into everything. It is almost like some kind of addiction to them. I agree too it has to be we the people that make sure we get our country back on track.

Jan, great way to put it, I agree so much.
Posted by: Wild Thing at December 11, 2010 05:31 PM
Tom, I agree, and for us to even be glad to see Clinton running the show so to speak says a lot about how bad obama is. haha I sat there shocked at myself how I was feeling like oh good finally someone that says complete sentences and not one threat made at any of us like obama always does.
Posted by: Wild Thing at December 11, 2010 05:34 PM
Bob, see that is exactly what it is. The fact how obama truly hates America. Thanks for the input on this.

Jim, thank you so much, I really appreciate it.
