This is Obama putting in a call yesterday to the fringe at MoveOn.org. He says the "American people are frustrating and they still want change."

My quick 2 cents on the hour-long Obama presser: He finally sensed his tone was not connecting with the press so he dropped it down a couple notches, took longer pauses and deeper breaths, donned that distant/empty gaze of reflection in his eyes, and confessed that he took a "shellacking." Voila! The press bought it and many Americans bought it--again. Academy Award-winning performance if you ask me. A short time will tell. In fact, just a few hours after today's presser, Obama held a conference call with the boys and girls over at MoveOn.org. You tell me, does his tone sound conciliatory? What I hear is the man I knew before his election, and a President who has lived up to my bad expectations. His hopenchange agenda is locked and loaded in his tunnel vision-set sites, and he plans on shooting that target for the next six years! Buyer beware.

obama may even try harder now that there is a speed bump in his road to socialism. That bump may grow larger now if fellow Dems become disenchanted and frightened for their political careers. If many Dems move from the left to true center obama may find it impossible to get any more programs through Congress.

Hopey Changey for the next 6 years? He'll be lucky if he isn't impeached before the next election. In case Dear Leader hasn't noticed he is toxic.

I don't think so WT. We have a majority now in the House, the money people. Everything now has to go through John Boehner, it aint gonna happen. We also have some really gutsey leaders in this new House, LTC West for one, he will not take any crap from anyone not on the same page.
As Rush said, it was a "Wipeout". and as Charles Krauthammer said, after the election, Oh bama's agenda is DEAD.

MrHappy as long as Obama has 30 Democrat or progressive Senators (I have to count Linsey Gramnsty as one of Obama's) we can not impeach Obama. Right now he has 52 Democratic Senators plus two sort ofs. He is not going to be impeached. Put aside $10 per week. Three hundred people doing this makes a congresssional district competative.
