White House quickly attacks GOP 'Pledge'
The White House immediately attacked the House Republicans’ election agenda rollout Wednesday evening, claiming the 21-page “Pledge to America” plan will “take America back to the same failed economic policies that caused this recession.”
White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer, writing on the White House blog, said Republicans “doubled down on the same ideas that hurt America’s middle class,” listing tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires, tax hikes for the middle class, “cutting rules and oversight” for financial services, health care and oil, all while adding to the deficit.
Republicans would counter that they are trying to cut taxes across the board and save taxpayer dollars by a federal hiring freeze and caps on spending. The agenda will be formally unveiled at an event in Sterling, Va., Thursday, in a rollout reminiscent of the 1994 Contract with America.
Pfeiffer notes that the document does not mention education, clean energy, protecting Social Security and bolstering infrastructure.
“This is the same agenda that caused the deepest recession since the Great Depression, costing 8 million jobs, wiping out trillions in family wealth and setting middle-class families back,” Pfeiffer wrote. “Instead of a pledge to the American people, Congressional Republicans made a pledge to the big special interests to restore the same economic ideas that benefited them at the expense of middle-class families.”

Do these fools think the American people aren’t noticing that thanks to the Tea Parties across our country the GOP is purging itself right now and operating on a completely different platform. This is not the ‘same policies of the Bush years’. This is a whole new set of people and a whole different vision.

Someone needs to tell him that the GOP did not raise middle class taxes. And that there is a reason to be sparing with rules and oversight. Regulation costs money, which is ultimately paid by the consumer.

It time for him to leave. He doesnt give a rats ass about this country. He's more concerned about what the muzzies wetbacks and any other supposed group thinks of us.
He has turned the American dream into an entitlement where for Illegal Immigrants, the thieves in the night, all they have to do is demand it. We Americans on the other hand are his hand maidens and have to work to pay for these baastards' idea of what being American is.

obama hates everything about traditional America. He is destroying our culture and economy as rapidly as he can. Sadly there is a large group of people who support him and his views. They will Balkanize America if this Democrat agenda continues after Nov.

Tonight they played a fast clip of obama and he was complaining again about the conssrvatives etc. Never in my life have I heard any president from either side do what obama does and threaten the American citizens, complain about them, whine about them. etc. No one and the media should be pointing that out, it speaks volumes about him.
