Check out this local news crew that takes water samples from crowded beaches to a chemist and find alarmingly high amounts of oil -- and one sample filled with toxic gas that causes a beaker to explode.

Honestly if I lived where the oil leak was I would wait and for sure not let children play in the water or on the sand. It is way too soon just my opinion. Nature on it's own will cure a lot of things, but it needs time too , and good grief they just capped the oil spill and people are letting their kids play like that in the water, it just surprises me.
