Obama celebrates July 4th at White House barbecue
Calling the Declaration of Independence more than words on an aging parchment, President Barack Obama marked the Fourth of July on Sunday by urging Americans to live the principles that founded the nation as well as celebrate them.
“This is the day when we celebrate the very essence of America and the spirit that has defined us as a people and as a nation for more than two centuries,” Obama told guests at a South Lawn barbecue honoring service members and their families.
“We celebrate the principles that are timeless, tenets first declared by men of property and wealth but which gave rise to what Lincoln called a new birth of freedom in America—civil rights and voting rights, workers’ rights and women’s rights, and the rights of every American,” he said. “And on this day that is uniquely American we are reminded that our Declaration, our example, made us a beacon to the world.”

Silly me - all this time, I’d thought it was about ‘inalienable rights’....
Obama has no idea what Independence Day is all about.

This pompus ass, hasn't a clue. There were 56 founders, not all of them were rich white people, which he has implied by his racist statements. Those 56 men pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor. Many of them lost their fortunes many lost both their lives and their fortunes but not lost their honor. Of which Barack Hussein Obama has none.
Of those founders was George Wahsington, called the Father of our country, He was made Generla of the Army, in all of the 8 years we fought the Revolution He was in every battle, many times his uniform was shredded his had riddled with Bullet holes and not once did he receive a scratch. Was this just providence or divine intervention to keep Washington safe for he had much greater trials ahead of him.
Obam is a man without a country, his soul is dead. Because he sure as hell is NOT an American.

Why should we expect any other type of statement,from an avowed Marxist.
You are mistaken if you think he has no clue. Every statement,every action and every move that this man makes is designed to weaken the fabric of this Great Nation. He knows exactly what he is doing.
The saddest thing is that there are still so many who feel that he is leading this Country in the right direction, and wish that he would do more.
If we, the voters, do not get out there in November to stem this tide than we deserve what we get.
Want some inspiration? Look up Ronald Reagan's Farewell Speech to the nation. He saw this coming and we need to rekindle the fire that was the Reagan Revolution.
